Question about microloops

Hi all.

I have a question about microloops. Say I wanted to use a 5 minute loop instead of the full 15 minutes. Is it as simple as loading the mp3 file into audacity and chopping it up? How do you know if you have enough of the messaging for it to be effective?

I believe audacity has a function to only play from one time stamp to another. No entirely sure.

Also, microloops are specifically 30-second loops.

No fancy lingo yet for 3- or 5-minutes loops that I’m aware of.

So as long as I make sections that are multiples of 30 seconds in length I’ll get the full set of scripting?

Do not edit the files in any way.

If you want to micro loop a title, push play, listen and stop the track at 30 seconds.

If you want 5 mins, push play, listen and stop the track at 5 mins.

No. Takes 3 minutes to get the full script for most titles. 5 to be sure.

Microloops are for once you’ve run the script long enough that your SubC knows the scripting at about same level of familiarity as you know a favorite song.

By that time, the microloop is just enough for the SubC to hear and be like “oh yeah! I know this song! Here’s how it goes”

Don’t recommend that you try to do 30-second microloops without full exposure first.

I tried already as my first exposure to Renaissance Man. The effects were weird.

Gotcha.

There is also the support ticket to get an answer from someone who knows what’s in the scripting.
