For the slot you don’t want to fill (looks like you fill the Modules 1-5 so for the Modules 6-10 part) select “No Module” module for that parts.
Also consider people usually don’t go for 5 “Core” custom and it might be bit heavy. 2 or 3 usually is the sweet number…

3 of the cores are NSE cores. with no artisan/multistage cores.
we already have the confirmation that 2 cores + 2 NSE cores are fine
i wonder if 2 cores + 3 NSE cores is fine too.

Officially yes.
Q-Engineer approved smaller builds in the past.
In the absence of modules, perhaps three NSE cores might be possible.
Or it might be, that it doesn’t work at all. Fire mentioned a few times, that modules are necessary the way Customs are built. Just as you can’t simply build name embedded major this way.

Yeah, I actually had no until that NSE are cores until I went back and looked.

Your ambition is admirable, and I think I see what the idea is behind that custom. The concept I think is quite brilliant. Especially Chosen plus WANTED. Leadership plus sex appeal. 
My concern is what’s going to happen when you start listening to something with 5 cores, even if (in theory) you create such a custom with no other modules in it.

Do you feel 3 synergy modules is too much to add to a core for example.

3 is not too much. In fact, I think 3 or 4 Synergy modules is a good starting point for one’s first custom.

My 2 Major cores, 1 NSE core, 6 Synergy and 4 module custom is super smooth.
And I’ve never run HoM single before.

Seems okay so far, the 3 cores in it I have ran 3 cycles in a row so that probably helps a lot. I’m microlooping (30+ seconds each listening), and the build has a lot of positivity in it (Sanguine, LB, Gratitude Embodiment, Enchanting Smile, etc.) and that’s probably helping a lot. And yeah, the cores are relatively light (Primal, Sanguine, Love Bomb), nothing crazy like Wanted Black + Khan ST4 + KB ST 4 etc. lol
Edit: btw I wouldn’t dare run this custom for more than 3 minutes, not yet anyway…
