I love this concept because I always find that in any custom I build, there are synergies between various modules. And these synergies tend to cohere and become clearer in my mind over time.
At first this was a bit less-so with ZP customs. I see ZP customs as more like a Solid State Drive compared to the earlier Q customs which were more like Hard Disk Drives. So I tried to look at every module in the ZP custom as equally contributing to one overall composite.
Over time, I still found sub-groups emerging. One of which was Synergy: Way of Mercy.
But the truth is that with ZP customs, they are more tightly organized, and, gradually, I think that more and more of the modules begin to feel synergistically related.
In my PHENOMENAUT Genesis custom, the following modules now feel like ‘All Of One Piece’:
Entranced, Eagle Eye, Empath, Mercy Protocol, Way of Understanding, Whispered Power, Chiron, and to a lesser extent, Story Teller, Polyglot, Ultimate Writer.
They all feel kind of united to me.
I guess the archetype of your Vision unifies over time, both in your mind, and, hopefully, in your actions and results in the world.

If i use Synergy: Machine Totality in a custom, is it better to pair it with Synergy: Machine Unleashed or Productivity Unleashed? since they both have Machine: Action in them.

Remember to include yourself into the equation. Don’t just think of it as mixing and matching external elements.
Similar to the camera when you’re watching a movie, you are always the invisible character in any subliminal that you create.
Think of what you want/need more of in your self, and use that to guide your choices of what to include in the custom. What you’re enhancing is not the custom, it is yourself. So dip your spoon into the soup pan, and take a taste. ‘What does this soup need more of?’
If you’re running Synergy: Machine Totality, it’s because you want to be productive, efficient, and unstoppable. It combines Deep Sleep, Machine: Action, and Machine: Rest.
Running Machine Totality will help you to do precisely what needs to be done at the right time. But you’ve decided that you also want to make sure to optimize output so you want to add Productivity Unleashed.
Now maybe when you observe yourself in life, you find that you are very, very, very slow to take action. So you want to get a ‘double-shot’ of Machine: Action. In this case, you could add Synergy: Machine Unleashed since it has Productivity Unleashed and Machine: Action.
But maybe when you are observing yourself in life, you find that you’re actually okay to get into action as long as you have a little bit of motivation. So you don’t need a double-shot of Machine: Action. In this case, you could just go with the Productivity Unleashed module (which is now one of the 112 FOCUS Modules).
It’s up to you based on your self-observation and what you observe that you need the most help and support with.
But this has always been the principle guiding the construction of customs.
Look first to your self. What does it need?
Then look to the modules.

If we get Focus modules mined from the reimagined major programs like Daredevil: Adventure Time or Primal: Liberation in the future too, we are pretty close to absolute flexibility when it comes to creating customs.
(It IMO would help clarity if they carry the name of the major program they were mined from. It would minimize the “Is X in Y?” kind of questions.)

Are these complete rewrites?
Like adding the scripts, deleting all redundancies
to get a rough idea and then rewrite them to get a unique synergistic module?
Based upon the constituent modules but completely new?

Funny part is that I didn’t expect Fire will write one since we already have Renaissance Man: Ultimate Writer X Core.
Imagine my surprise when I checked it by searching for Ultimate Writer module in the Q Store and this Synergy showed up.
Can save 2 slots and no need for the Core if one wants a general writing skill module.
Or should I say, if one wants some good writing skills to synergize with the custom.
