I tested both my “new” name and my birth name that only my parents used, back when customs allowed both back in the day.
I got MUCH better results with the name I had from childhood, even though I hate the name and have negative connotations to it from childhood and getting bullied specifically because of my name.
Regardless of my conscious feelings about it, and regardless of the fact that I consciously can’t even say my birth name without disdain, my subconscious still prefers my birth name… for customs at least… perhaps because it doesn’t have any of the preconceived judgements and negative conditioning that the conscious mind picked up

Interesting, I thought that it may be the case, for me it gets gets a bit more complicated because most English speakers can’t pronounce it correctly and my fear is that my subcouncious might not recognise it, as it has happened in the past that people where trying to call me and I did’t realise it. I have been called by my shortened name since childhood too.
