Potentially dangerous info on support page

Too long, did not read

The sad truth I’ve noticed with all the interactions with my customers and through analytics, people do not read. Not the sales page, not the instructions, and definitely not the fine print.

You can put some important information with cat size letters right in front of their noses and still they don’t see it. And my products are not nearly as complicated as the SubClub stuff.

I recommend you include a quick start quide on your website/ with the purchase. READ THIS FIRST. Then simple list of instructions.

-Unzip file
-Listen with low enough volume
-Only once in the beginning

And so on, depending on if it is an Ultima or Qv2

Forgot to mention ā€œthe next generationā€ doesn’t like reading either and their reading comprehension is rather… not really excellent.

Of course, I was not reffering to you, Hoppa

There is a YouTube channel for SC, so this would fit.

I started a YT channel mostly because 50% of people online watch video content daily.
70% at least once a week.

It is the future.

Still, I have done it similarly as @SaintSovereign mentioned, that if people cannot be bothered to read a bunch of pages for life changing knowledge and instructions, maybe they are not meant to be.

I see it as a sort of filter.

The person we all got to know on the forum recently I would’ve banned sooner :sunglasses:

You just cannot save anyone. Especially not people who want anything given to them, because they will eventually fail anyway.

I would agree, but there is money involved.

Refunds affect the business side. Also all the bashing that can happen on social media can harm the business.

Sure, but the recent occurrence didn’t help either so it’s a small path to tread.

As a semi-newbie myself, I concur. A" for dummies" guide might be useful. My main concern, would be people that use headphones with Ultrasonics at a high volume.

It just means that the business needs to evolve. Now they are at a point where it’s not only first adopters. Starting to be more mainstream. And if they want to grow, they have to adjust.

What a detrimental belief you have. Naughty, naughty. You should run the Dragon, mate.

The point is, you cannot prevent people like that from coming here an buying SC products and simply banning them doesn’t resolve the issue but makes it go wild behind the scene.

Great point in here. Thanks

I’ll do after khan.

Maybe it’ll change my opinion on this :sunglasses:

I hope so, especially, for the kind of service you provide people with. Actually, I’m sure you’ll get there sooner or later. I can tell how much I’ve changed since I started my adventure with SC. I hope everybody could run certain SC subs…

@SaintSovereign

Here’s an idea:

Make a comic/manga style strip about what happens when the customer buys your product. The whole journey. How to use the products, what to do if you have questions (direct to forum) and so on.

This has been tested widely in Japan and it actually raises the conversion rate on sales pages.

Just popped into my head. Can’t remember where I read about it. Need to contact my graphics guy to implement in my business…

Edit: Include an angry mob with pitchforks if you are rude on the forum…

Or stopped the next Frankenstein from being born

There are warnings regarding ultrasonics all over the website, including on the My Account & Downloads page and all throughout the manual, and people STILL say this. This is my point — adding a ā€œquick startā€ may be detrimental to people’s results and possibly even harmful because they will not respect the power of the subliminal by just jumping in.

I was a newbie not too long ago. Although I had a relationship with subs for years SubClub was an entirely different beast in a fantastic way. If people would just read the forums even on things they are not interested in you could learn a lot on the many nuiances of subs. I simply stopped checking facebook and started checking this instead. Over the course of the month I have been here. I have become more motivated and happier from reading the forum and implementing the subs. Seeing people take action is contagious.

Yeah @Hoppa has a great point - people are too lazy to read.

a short summary video of like one minute about basic usage and pitfalls can make it much clearer for newcomers.

it can even be cartoonish with hip animation.
I think because they are such powerful tools, a video can be of great benefit.

We’ll look into a video. I suspect people won’t watch those either.

I don’t know what kind of resources you have, but get a good script. Make it interesting enough with the style.

Might take some testing. Use a tool that gives you good data on the engagement. One potential tool I’m considering for myself is Vidalytics. Might be worth checking out for you guys.
