Poll: how do you choose the focus of your stack?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been away for a while now, and hopefully I’ll start a new journal again, as I have a lot that I haven’t logged on here (smallest thing being that I got the position of “Head of Sponsorship” for an international athletics League’s playoffs in Qatar), but for now, I’m very keen on learning about how people have been choosing their subs, and of the 2 options, which one is the one you personally follow, and why?

  • Enhancing your best qualities/skills.
  • Improving your shortcomings/issues.

Tough to answer-as I thought about it, it started with improving my shortcomings.
Discipline, drive, ambition, focus, financial ability, business influence.
Now I run subs mostly on wealth and thought I am just enhancing my best qualities/skills wow I should really focus on my shortcomings… then I realized those were my shortcomings two years ago

Don’t know if you understand the purpose of the question yet, but reflect on this, and try to think about why it’s actually a good sign that you find it thought to answer

As for this, if you’re saying that you’re running subs to enhance your skills, which were your shortcomings before, then what does that tell you about your sub choices now? And the results you get now vs 2 years ago :eyes:

Think about it, and lemme know where that thought leads you.

i use a mix of both.
HeO & RM:UWX to enhance my best qualities/skills
LBFH to improve my shortcomings
working on one also improves the other, so if you have clear goals that you’re taking action towards, it will work out either way with whichever focus you choose.

If i want to focus on improving my shortcomings, i think i would use rebirth or DR instead of HeO & RM:UWX.

Neither, I use my intuitive feelings to decide, I think using my analytical mind is too limited/ subjective compared to deeply felt intuition.

It’s interesting you give only 2 choices, focused either on what’s good or what’s bad, typical of the mind’s black and white approach to things, life is so much sweeter than this though.

What if I told you my shortcomings are my abilities, in reality your poll has only one answer: we are here to grow.

For me it highly depends. I improve my shortcoming if these shortcoming need to be overcome atm, and improve my strengths if its usefull to develop these strengths even further. My sub choices are more dependant on what i could actually make use off at that time rather than purely wether its a strength or a shortcoming.

Even though productivity is a shortcoming of mine for instance, you wont catch me running a productivity sub when im on vacation.

I feel you on that, and trust me, I do agree, however, that’s not the point of the poll.

The point of the poll is to see what people prioritize in general, like for example:

This is one way of approaching growth, but just because it is way, doesn’t make it the gold standard.

If you were to tell me that you’re shortcomings are your abilities, then I would feel like you’re discrediting yourself, because each and every single one of us have an ability (at the very least) that could be called a gift, and while yes, we’re all here to grow, it doesn’t necessarily mean the growth is the same, as growth happens in areas, and the type is dependent on the type of growth (healing, advancing with a skill, developing a mindset).

Yes, they can be interconnected, but not always (I’m currently improving my gaming skills, while developing more of my Khan side, neither of which are related, but the growth is simultaneous).

The whole objective of this poll was to see how people respond, and then look into their journeys to see how it has been reflecting, while yes the percentages matter, the replies are much more valuable.

Let’s take @Azriel as an example.
The part I quoted has him mentioning that what he’s focused on right now were actually his shortcomings 2 years ago, so now it’s just him improving on all those effects with more focus on them, but why does this matter?
Cause this is one of the main factors I’ve noticed to have become a driving force for an individual’s flow factor.

In essence, flow factor processes subs faster, and truth of the matter is that there’s another side to this coin; reconciliation, which processes reality shifts faster, and the formula is simple:

Shift your reality, then flow in it.
But how to shift realities?
By amplifying your subconscious/inner self, which is done by working on your shortcomings, and once that’s done, you just flow with your enhancements/improvements.

And with that, thank you to everyone for answering the poll, as I have a better idea now of how people go about their choices.

How do you approach your subs Invictus in this context?

Is there something you would consider to be a “gold standard”?

I chose enhancing your best qualities. Started out my sub club journey with DR and improving shortcomings.

It’s a hard choice because it seems the 2 work together/synergistically as part of the ongoing upward spiral.

I do this:

  1. If I’m crushing it, I allow myself to make a wide stack addressing different topics and giving me diversified roi.
  2. If I’m NOT crushing it due to my shortcomings, I make a focused stack that deals wid that shortcoming so that I can crush it and do step 1.

But it looks like u came to a similar conclusion yourself:

I chose in the beginning a sub that helped me to reach my wealth goals, EoG. After a month per Stage, I switched to Emperor.

Now I’m running Stark Black but I’ll be switching to an Emperor based custom once all the necessary cores are updated.

I’m waiting for RICH and Mind’s Eye.

One of each.

I have a sub that focuses on my major goal in life (strength) for that season.

But then the other slots in my stack are all dedicated to clearing whatever blockages would stop me from accomplishing those wealth goals. Usually LE, for productivity… but I’ve also ran RoS to feel purpose while working, Genesis to feel like I have work/life balance, Chosen to come off as more warm/compassionate,

The most proven formula for me has been any wealth sub (my big strength/goal) combined with LE (productivity is my biggest weakness).

I would say both, it depends on my goals. If my goal is i.e. career advancement i would add E:TWTP to my primary core, Emperor. My modules are usually not that much but would support those two cores, by using result enhancers or the modules that would emphasize a certain development or strength - i.e. the lines or the way of roi, value proposition …

Reigniting conversation on ERB?

Instead of skills vs shortcomings I use the concept of the wheel of life.
All areas of my life on a scale from 1 to 10.
The scales arranged in a circle.
The goal is not to max out one area, but rather forming a round wheel so my life runs like a proper wheel does.

For me it’s finance/career that’s what below the rest.
And also my shortcoming in my relationship with the pornaddiction and the underlying causes.

Therfore I’m running GM and KB.

But speaking in your terms, I’m tackling the shortcomings first until they’re bearable, and then I’m deciding what’s most important in my life.

But speaking of importance. That might be the deciding factor for me. Much rather then the ditochomy of skills/shortcomings I rather look at what is most important for me right now.

Eg I know I need to loose weight. But I also know, that I need to fix finances first, or I can’t keep any diet because I have cravings nonstop to numb the pain of sorrows with cheap dopamine from sweets.

I know that I’d like to run SSX. But as long as my porn issue destroys trust in my relationship, I first need to fix that shortcoming with KB.

So for me it is importance of goals, based on the pain I’m feeling from shortcomings. Once they’re dealt with, I’m much more free to choose.

I spot the most vital discrepancies between my present self and my REAL self, and I address them with ZP, provided there’s a proper training ground (avenues, people, activities etc.) that would help bridge the gaps.
