@SaintSovereign > I’ve been curious about one aspect of the spoken scripts. Do they all use the same accent, or is that varied between subs? Could this affect subconscious reactions? For example, might scripts in American English resonate more with Americans, UK English with the Brits, and Australian English with Aussies?
Or is it akin to a coach’s motivational speech? If the accent is clear, it should not affect how receptive the subconscious is?
I’m trying to word this in a way that doesn’t come across as me telling people what to do, because of course I won’t know the situation better than those who’ve been the ones managing and dealing with this all this while. I will just state what comes to mind, and what I think - it could be wrong and as just a random outsider I don’t purport that this opinion is more valid than any other.
But reading this entire thread just makes me weep for how much more progress SC could have made if it just stopped trying to be so reasonable and accommodating all the time. I mean, you guys are good-hearted and that shows in the free upgrades and everything else. However, it seems to have come at a heavy cost! By cost, I’m referring to a propensity to throw good money after bad (or replace “money” with “time”, “effort” or other resource). I mean, what exactly is the underlying thought process that originally led to accommodating someone who changes their mind four times, in the face of a policy which textually allows for zero? Really think about this philosophy. This is an unusual level of generosity, coming at the expense of a vast amount of wasted effort. I just feel like … if you told anyone off the street that you did that, they’d tell you it makes zero sense. Most people wouldn’t do that.
I have been thinking about whether there is an inverse correlation (or even causation) between good-naturedness and efficacy. Because this is something I struggle with as well. So reading something like this just makes me feel indignant. I have been told I was too accommodating. If you told me to do something, I would probably drop everything I’m currently busy with for you. I have been told I’m dragging a process down by agreeing to useless shit. I have been told I’m not adequately driving things forward. So I am a little less of that now, and I get a little less of these comments now, but yes. (I’m an attorney, so you can imagine how well it works out having a personality like that in an environment like this). But on the question at the start of this paragraph - is there? I think, sadly, the answer is yes. Because all I’ve seen is that the people who are best at imposing their will onto reality have that element of an “edge” about them. They are good at putting their foot down and delivering action where needed to make that crucial impact. But don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying being an asshole improves results. I just think being excessively good-natured hamstrings them. And reading this, it sounds like this is what had been happening to SC.
Maybe all SC needed was a touch of ruthless ambition. Which doesn’t necessarily need to come with less good-naturedness, just a greater focus on what you really want. If that’s just making dope stuff and a focus on the visionary elite, then I hope a redoubled emphasis on that takes you to where you actually want to be. I think all that’s been said here does sit well with me - it sounds like the random baggage and riffraff has been cast aside, paving the way for a new SC. Almost like, you know, “the NEW Subliminal Club”, just like the way you introduce your new titles with such fanfare, and at least from what I’ve seen, each time it does live up to the hype.
I think it comes down to boundaries. Which is a skill. I relate to this as well. It’s only gotten harder the more I see how complex people are. There’s that desire to look deeper into the individual, but at face value that shouldn’t be anyone’s responsibility. Holding a complex view of human beings and understanding while still maintaining boundaries and a firm line that isn’t crossed is tough.
People need to stop concerning themselves with how “nerfed” a script is, or isn’t. Y’all can barely stick to the same title for more than a month.
Fact of the matter is that if it wasn’t for the script’s authors disclosing those details, we wouldn’t have any idea about that whatsoever, it would have been business as usual. Instead we’re left with thinking about the possibility of results being even better, instead of seeing what’s under our very noses.
Some of y’all don’t even remember how much of a game-changer Qv2 was compared to the previous tech, just be happy you’re not running hour-long loops anymore. Others seem to forget how the first version of ZP’s recon made you want to drive straight into a wall, be happy that we aren’t dealing with that shit anymore.
Just trust the process, and the process shall deliver.
I just think it’s a pointless activity that produces zero value, because ultimately it doesn’t lead to any knowledge whatsoever.
Ok, KBBC’s script was nerfed to the point where 75% of it was cut. Do we have access to the original script? Can we make a comparison between the 2 scripts and their effects?
All this does is create a feeling of FOMO, and FOMO is a toxicity that is plaguing the whole social media generation. We certainly don’t need more of that in our lives.
Idk, for me it generates not FOMO but excitement for what’s to come
That I have to agree with lol
Not yet. But thinking about it gives me a ton of hope, excitement and motivation for more action. Like, if I’m getting so many benefits from current version, then I better prepare as much as possible for the non-nerfed ones to reap their full benefits
People can’t get results with the nerfed versions but they’re worried about the un-nerfed ones. Maybe get good at getting results with the available versions first.
It’s like not being able to drive a car that goes 40 miles per hour but asking about the 200 miles per hour vehicle. You’re just going to drive that thing into a tree.
The 40 miles per hour car will get you to destination just fine. Manage to drive that one without crashing it and maybe @SaintSovereign will give you the keys to the Lamborghini.
In a nutshell, if you haven’t been getting results with the available versions, you’re just wasting your time thinking about the other ones.
