sorry if this is a dumb question but will solace masks be available on major name embeds? if yes and i had a non-solace mask, can i purchase a solace mask for the majors i already have?

Where did you get your non-solace majors?
If you purchased through the main store, all now come with the solace mask. If it was an earlier version, just download it again.
As for the name embedded feature, it might be offered free to those who own the titles, or perhaps there will be a small upgrade fee.
New mask options are going to be available, but these could just be for customs.

Im a bit late to the party but:
How about a button that appears for members (in their shop account, not forum) who have purchased X amount of products and have been members for atleast Y Amount of time.
The button leads them to a questionaire (could be multiple choice or otherwise) where the user is asked a certain amount of questions (and the ‘correct’ answer should NOT be obvious). If they get a certain percentage of questions correct (typically above 90% at the very least), they can get access to terminus.
The user should only be able to take the questionaire once every quarter or so, to allow for sufficient growth before taking it again. This will stop them spamming the questionnaire with random answers until they get above needed percentage.
That way, it can be semi automated or even automated, saving time and effort, while having a sound way of accessing if someone is suitable.
Im not sure if this has been suggested by anyone below Saint’s above message, apologies if it has been, I haven’t read past it.

i guess i misunderstood. i thought majors meant stand alone titles in the subclub store. but you’re saying these masks are only for Q.
I’ve ordered customs from Q and I’ve ordered stand alone titles.
my question for Saint is if there will be solace masks and name embeds for stand alone titles in subclub (not just in Q). apologies for confusing everyone. @AnswerGroup

Solace is THE standard mask for majors. I don’t foresee that adding name embeds would affect that.
I am keen on the idea of eventually having more masks to choose from. I’m partial to ocean/beach sounds myself.

Oh I actually posted this following the announcement of name embedded major titles.
I was giving seductress as an example because I’m not the one running it, nor do I ever plan to do it.
If they go forward with the update of name embedding my seductress title will become obsolete hence why I wanted to know what was the plan for this situation which I know lots of users did.
It could also be (altough this situation is more debatable) because I gifted paragon to my mom for her neck pain issue, for example.
In the case of Seductress, well it’s pretty easy to see I’m not using it for myself…
@SaintSovereign Maybe adding a special “gift” option where you can create some kind of “profile” and add username to certain subs without them being changeable or with their name being changeable if it is allowed, with the example of me giving paragon to my mom because of an injury but I might also run it eventually if I get injured.
In those cases, my mom is not necessarly involved in subliminal, she’ll run it because I give it to her, but she won’t do it if I’m not spoon feeding it to her. Same for gf.

Name embedding in steps could actually be an elegant option to solve several problems.
@RVconsultant’s proposal to still include non name embedded programs would leave the pirate problem open but under different circumstances. If someone pirates a SC sub and likes it, there would be a good chance to catch them afterall with the name embedded version as a follow up.
This option should probably find its way into the store somehow as AC & LBfH are free titles and I suspect name embedding and free wouldn’t be feasible.
Not sure all major subs should get this option though. Not so much looking at the price angle, but more at the responsibility of running advanced programs. Something like Dragon Rising: Red, Gold or ASBR IMO shouldn’t be available in a NNE version while Paragon, Ascension e. a. would be okay.
So overall there could be (with rising difficulty of the subs):
- NNE and NE versions are available. (LBfH, AC etc.)
- NE versions are available. (without restrictions to naming. Paragon and other basics, often as presents, no advanced or artisan titles.)
- NE versions (restricted to your (chosen) name. Advanced and Artisan titles.)
With (expanded) lifetime badges you could further differentiate. (as written above, should include how long someone has been a customer, how many titles bought, forum activity etc. Can you see how often/when a sub was downloaded? If e. g. someone bought a title years ago but downloaded every update shortly after release, it would be IMO a good indicator for continuous sub use.)
E. G. you could include experimental titles only visible for very experienced customers or dropping name restriction for experienced users as they should be able to guide other users.

The obvious idea:
at checkout AND at a section of the Q shop, have samples available of the different masks.
One example, the side bar that has options such as:
SYNERGY
FOCUS
New Modules
Auras
Emotional Healing
Major Subliminal Core
Physical Changes
etc.
Just list “To listen to samples of masks, click here” or something super obvious as such.
With a note:
“PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY! Consider the option of your mask. Take your time. Once a custom order is placed, that is FINAL! No refunds. No last minute changes.”
Something similar to that.
It’s an idea at that.
For now, perhaps separate accounts. That would mean to have your mom set up one for herself, and your gf set up one for herself, as well.

Ah yes, I still remember it well. Tearing up after my boss politely corrected a mistake I made at my new job and him looking at me in horror and confusion. Ahh, yes ZPv1 Emperor was something else.
