PLEASE READ: Q Policies + Coming Updates / Major Name Embeds (Open Discussion)

I think a psychological evaluation test would be a quite high hurdle (for customers but also for the company regarding privacy and an immense workload, how to keep the questionaire secret, do you change it regularly to insure unbiased answers, it would be endlessly long, laced with control questions etc.) and send a very difficult message. It would probably be a feast for the mINdConTrol crowd. Maybe it could work for a voucher, but most problems would stand.

Probably best to start with the data at hand:

How long is he/she customer? How many products purchased? Maybe different categories would help: X number of “beginner” subs (LBfH, AC, Genesis line) purchased, Y number of experienced user subs (Emperor etc.), Z number of artesin titles purchased.

Maybe a small points based system would make sense?

The two main metrics in the choice of who can use more powerful subliminals seems to be sanity and experience.

Sanity is the more challenging to assess, but as a good starter, experience is easier to judge based on the date of the first subliminal purchase.

Ofc not fullproof since who knows how much one has used a sub but still it’s the most accurate metric I can think of.

@SaintSovereign @Fire

Edit: Also a system of gradually unlocking access to different subliminals depending on purchases.

Example: someone who only has experience with LotS or BDLM even after a long time doesn’t get access to higher tier subs like Emperor Galaxy or Khan Multiverse unless they also have experienced mid tier subs.

Hahaha I guess I tapped into your idea because I just wrote the exact same thing!!

Great minds and all that…

This is what I thought too upon reading it. It would be a privacy nightmare, not to mention a turn-off to some of the very people they’re trying to attract, many of whom tend to be privacy-aware or focused. And it wouldn’t prevent bad actors from lying to gain access to something.
(Begin Personal Opinion)
I was thinking something along the lines you mentioned, but voluntarily calculated in conjunction with forum account to gain access to things that require a trust score (because by default the two are not linked), maybe running the data points through a trained neural network. Then there could be a situation where a high degree of confidence/trust automatically provides access, while a lesser score within a certain range doesn’t automatically rule the member out but would require manual verification.

I’m not seeing any simpler solutions at the moment due to the need to balance privacy with trust without causing problems for either experienced users or the company. But there are definitely temporary solutions that could reduce the pain factor while a better long term solution is implemented.

Totally agree. You could work against it with control questions, but that again would be an immense workload.

It probably shouldn’t be a too rigid system. Maybe it would make sense to look at problematic points separately. The mindcontrol crowd was mostly a problem in the forum and support and requires a different solution than say a serial returner.

I would debate powerful titles being gate locked on the forum level. I do very much enjoy the forum, but we gotta be honest, theres like a couple dozen people literally treating this forum like reddit, circle jerking each other and spamming nonsense 24/7

One major criteria should be not making a nuisance of themselves in the Support. Sending too many tickets complaining or shouting at the support staff.

That should end in an automatic disqualification.

I know that will only make toxic people more polite but hopefully it will end up in fake it till you make it lol.

That’s just one criteria of course. Plenty of good points given here by others.

I vote to offer name embedded titles, name embedded titles in one’s voice, AND the regular ones with no name embedded.

Why do I vote keeping the regular ones as well?

I’m aware this is an international community. For those of us in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and a number of European countries, a 5, 10, or 15 USD increase in price is probably no big deal. However with exchange rates as they can be, such a “minor” price increase might not be minor in some countries. There are also people on here who are likely at university or college, and money can be tight, and the usual thought of “save money by not going to bars and drinking” might not be the issue.

So I vote keep the regular ones as a budget option.

Now as for Terminus and Terminus Squared.

What about having those in a similar category as “testers”?

There are a group of people who have tested products, and there must be a way they got screened in to do so.

How are people chosen to be testers, and how might those criteria apply to Terminus style titles? (rhetorical question)

Also perhaps limit Terminus via time or event. For example if a person has one Terminus title, they must use it for 90 days while keeping a journal (open or restricted/hidden). After which, perhaps they could get a second Terminus title to use. As for examples of events, the person using a Terminus title continues to follow the guidelines, achieve congruently with the objectives, and experience minimal reconciliation.

@Fire @SaintSovereign

You said that name embedding would prevent pirates from benefiting from titles with the wrong name. But would it also work as a safeguard for others? Meaning I could listen to my subliminals with name embedding and my fiancee present and she wouldn’t feel it negatively?
Or would it still fill the processing queue and could cause recon?

I think subclub should not exaggerate the whole thing and put customers off.
Especially new customers. Warnings in the instructions should be enough.
In the end, everyone does what they think is right and possible barriers are somehow circumvented.

I find it illogical to think about terminus anyway, when the majority can’t even cope with the 15 minutes of a normal zp title. In times of microloops, it makes no sense to me to make the subs even stronger.

I think the subs are very mature and balanced. You have every opportunity to positively influence your life with the available technology.
The integration of the name also strengthens the subs and I think it’s a good idea and it further enhances the major titles.

The individualisation of the major titles also solves some problems and limits the circle of users because they have to use their real name. This brings more transparency.

Difficult and problematic people are left behind. At least a lot of illegal behaviour no longer makes sense.

I’m allergic to work. I just started to feel itchy just thinking about this

There are plenty of people here who can handle full loops. Terminus (both versions) might not be for everyone. But there are people here who handle them just fine.

bad idea, IMHO. some of us prefer offline journaling. me myself don’t journal at all: I’m running my 10th straight cycle of Index Gate, and I don’t need a journal, because I can obviously see I’m getting better everyday with IG in terms of IT.

I more than agree with everything you said else, though.

That’s a good point. Some prefer a voice diary and handwritten journals are a bit more effective than typed ones.

It would be IMO best to concentrate on measuring and not on handing out additional tasks to customers.

I’ve done full loops of DRR and QL recently.

I’m a glutton for punishment apparently

I have a thought…

What I am thinking about is how do I know which Terminus power level I can tolerate for a major title, when I can only really try terminus and T2 in Ascension Chamber, or in a custom which already have a heavier load?

Could one possible approach be to, initially, offer one major title (perhaps Genesis?) in T/T2 so people can measure how much unlimited power they can handle? And then either release more titles to the public, or add some sort of gatekeeping system?

Just a thought.

It probably will also depend on the title itself.
Dragon Reborn might be more intense for some than Ascension.
So therefore no general statement about Terminus possible

I agree that psychological evaluation is invasive and would require consent forms. So perhaps after each purchase, a voluntary survey is prompted. Asking key questions picked from metric analysis that could flag or pass a buyer.

Discovering trends that flag “at risk” users could also prove beneficial. For example, buyers that shout at reps could be linked to hostile behavior in threads, which could be linked to deviant behavior in life. It would have to be determined what personality traits and to what percentage we’re looking for here, and subtle ways of extracting and analyzing the data
