PLEASE READ: Q Cores Notice

People have started making Q customs with 8+ cores, and consequently (depending on which cores and the number) causing glitches in Q.

We are putting those orders on hold and will be reaching out to see what can be done with these customs, so if you are one of these individuals keep an eye out on your e-mail, forum PMs or support ticket.

Please try to not overload yourself (and Q) with these massive customs and keep in mind that there is such a thing as too much.

I wonder what those look like, especially the one that plugged the line.

Motion to start a wall of shame?

I had anxiety about my 3 core custom with Emperor Daddy, Primal, and RotnW. 8, Jeeeez. There’s always someone with a bigger yacht. Love it

One person comes to mind, I wonder if it’s them

Program Cores?

Or Program Cores and NSE Cores?

I can see how the desire to include NSE cores could draw even some of the self-disciplined users into this pattern of Core Bloating.

But if it’s just program cores… Sheesh.

What is the current recommendation for max amount of cores in a custom for advanced users?

We’ve had multiple situations where the entire custom is nothing but cores. Like 10 cores.

Three. Cores are massive. I’d personally only go with two max.

Any distinction here between Program Cores and NSE Cores?

There are now two product categories that are both referred to as ‘Cores’.

In this case, we’re specifically talking about Major title cores, NSE isn’t nearly as dense.

Got it, so to clarify something like two cores and adding in something like the NWE wouldn’t be overdoing it?

8+ cores is crazy work!!! :joy:
If you have that many things to work on, just run DRR and Genesis for a few months to figure what you really want, then create tighter customs.

If you have two non NSE cores, it’s s actually a good idea to add a relevant NSE core.
