Today was the funeral - I’ll say that I was pleasantly surprised at how the ceremony turned out. Family of course is not taking it easy, but now that the main obligations are done it should be easier.
The wheel of life spins on.

I’m glad the ceremony brought you at least some peace and turned out in a way that felt right. I can imagine the days leading up to it must have carried a lot of weight for you and your family.
Hopefully, with the funeral behind you, there’s now a little more room to simply be together and process everything at your own pace.
