Hello everyone,
I have been a bit less active on the forum this past month (though I’ve been keeping up and reading) - I had to urgently pack everything and fly back to my hometown as my father got sick, due to terminal stage liver cirrhosis (not alcoholic).
For a couple days he came back home, then he went back to the hospital due to an infection. Yesterday, we found out the infection was an antibiotic resistant bacteria and thus he was put in isolation.
And now, just a couple hours ago we got the call from the hospital letting us know he passed on. I will be taking some more time to help my family get through the funeral and all that entails.
