I was just pondering how those two are like a power couple, or how to sneak the 48 Laws of Power into Daredevil: True Social!

Will it be possible for us to preview a sample of the masked audio tracks prior to finalizing our orders for a custom?

If we do, it will be somewhat mangled with a speaking watermark over it. We paid to get these recorded (for licensing issues, the “stock” audio that would serve as good masks have very expensive and restrictive license) and won’t be allowing people to steal our masks for their own stuff. Won’t quite work anyway, since Solace uses the Dolby API during the building of a title.

More suggestions on “negotiation” from Chris Voss’ book “ Never Split the difference”

  1. Emotional Intelligence is Key “ Successful negotiation is more about emotional intelligence and empathy than logic. Understanding the other person’s emotions and motivations gives you an advantage.

  2. Tactical Empathy “ This means actively listening and demonstrating an understanding of the other party’s perspective to build trust.

  3. Mirroring “Repeating the last few words the other person said encourages them to elaborate and feel understood.

  4. Labeling Emotions “ Identifying and verbalizing the other party’s emotions (e.g., sounds like you’re frustrated) helps defuse tension and builds rapport.

  5. Calibrated Questions “Asking open-ended questions that start with How or What (eg: How am I supposed to do that) forces the other party to think and engage more.

  6. The 7-38-55 Rule “ Communication is 7% words, 38% tone, and 55% body language. How you say things matters more than what you say.

I’d like to add being aware of your “tone” makes a big difference in conversations and would like to see some scripting for this.

I just wrote about how tone affected an experience. Very interesting:

If you are familiar with Owen Cook or Julien Blanc from the old RSD days, this is what Dare Devil: True Social should represent. The opposite of situational status, but the person who can go into any room, with or without the accompanying social status, and still have absolute freedom of expression.

Daredevil is about freedom, and the ability to withstand extreme social pressure under any situation, dates, public speaking, while feeing completely uncomfortable in your own skin.

True Social, is where the extreme social acuity comes in, being able to take someone even on the spectrum like Owen Cook was, to the life of the party at even the most exclusive down town clubs.

I loved the original dare devil, it was the title that completely reshaped my social life and standing to the point where I became a local celebrity, went from being a notch count of 2-3 to much over 100, and allowed me to master an area of my life that I struggled with my entire child hood.

The new Daredevil, while an extremely powerful title, became a little bit niche, and made the usecase for me difficult to comprehend including in my stack.

Bring back the social god, where those skills are a bit more broad and can be applied to any social setting

Tone is the hidden energy when one speaks. If you were to speak to a friend and said the following

“You look great!” - ( with cheerful sincerity ) he/she could sense your genuine comment.

“You look great…” ( sarcastic tone) depending on the friend, they might laugh or flip you off.

I know some people that are not very aware of their tones and when they joke, they sound like aholes.

Can we have an official True Social hype thread for ideas, or just keep them in here?

Thank you for the quick response, @SaintSovereign. I appreciate your efforts and understand your need to keep your technology safe.

I have one slot left for my custom before finalizing my first one. I’m excited to create something special that I can call my own.

@SaintSovereign @Fire I have an idea for Emperor Executive

Scripting to eliminate self sabotage or for whatever gets in the way of getting shit done. Focus? Distractions? FOMO?

@SaintSovereign @Fire I think that for Emperor: Executive, there should scripting for brain fog and fixing attention span so you don’t get distracted get work done.

Or perhaps even a Stack Section?
Like we have product discussion, major journals, custom journals, etc.

With a separate section for stacks and individual threads for each stack, it would be much easier to keep track of a special stack without having to search one single huge thread.

That would be great. :ok_hand:

Hi, where can I find out more about this?
