Hey guys so I haven’t used my ultrasonics in a while because I’ve always used them on my phone but now when I check the volume on the frequensee app from a separate device, even at max volume it still only registers at about ~50db, even with the other device right next to it with the speaker of the phone playing the track within a foot of the second device. I normally carry my phone with me at work with it playing in my shirt pocket, but I don’t know if that’s enough anymore. What should I do?
I don’t know if this was answered privately or something but what I discovered is that some phones DO NOT pickup the ultrasonic in the FrequenSee app.
Specifically my HUAWEI P30 Lite CANNOT pick it up.
I used a Samsung Galaxy S9+ right next to it, and that DID pick it up.
No change in speakers or distance or app. Just two different phones.
This doesn’t directly answer your question, since you asked about using it to PLAY the Ultrasonic, which idk if it has an impact, but what kind of phone you use DOES seem to have an effect. At least to control the volume with FrequenSee.
