A phrase popped into my head unbidden last night whilst reading some marketing/business stuff.

“Do you want a side hustle or a success hustle?”

The wise make time to do things right the first time. Fools never have time to do it right the first time, but somehow they find the time to do it over again… and again… and again.

Fools think that “information wants to be free.” Hey, if information is defined as that which most people don’t know or can’t know, then free information isn’t really information at all, is it?

I’m going through the niche selection process from Miles Beckler’s “Niche Navigator” video course.

I’m notice that it fucking pisses me off that Udemy has Hypnotherapy/Hypnosis lumped in the “Esoteric Practices” category right alongside such bullshit as astrology and tarot reading.

Richard Nongard (excellent hypnotherapist) once expressed an opinion about the people who view hypnosis and hypnotherapy as a “last resort”.

Which basically means people wait until they’ve tried “everything else”…sometimes including such bullshit as tarot and astrology before “resorting” to hypnosis.

He said “Hypnosis is a great FIRST LINE approach to getting well”. And he’s right.

The price of salt is the same either way."

Just found out my mom died yesterday morning or the night before.

No official cause yet. We’ll hopefully know soon.

I haven’t seen her since 2011 or 2012. Just never “worked out” to see her since then.

I’m not terribly sad. She had congestive heart failure so was on oxygen 24/7. I mostly feel bad for not seeing her more or talking more.

Whenever people I know die, I mostly end up looking back at my life. “How could I have done better?”

All the more reason to BUILD.

Don’t know how I’ll make it back for a funeral when I can barely keep my car running.

Nap time.

I’m sorry to hear that. I wouldn’t have made that joke above had I seen that. My condolences.

From today’s private/offline subliminal journal:

Updated the stack today so the 10-min Emperor version is E:EV1 instead of New Emperor. Added 1 minute of New Emperor so hopefully the Emperor part of E:EV1 will filter through the NSE in NewEmp.

Ran that today while watching vids by Alex Cattoni and Miles Beckler. Really getting a feel for how to make simple funnels. Will be taking a stab at that soon once I find a good match between a promising niche and available affiliate networks/products. Clickbank won’t let me set up an account right now for some reason. Not gonna waste time trying to “fix” that. Plenty of other fish in that ocean.

As I work on stuff at the desk tonight, I feel myself filled with a sense of optimism and “I got this” confidence. Not the “fake it till you make it” confidence. The “I either know what I need to know or I know I can find out what I need to know” kind. The real shit.

Yesterday, I ran one 10-min loop each of E:E V1, Limitless, Index Gate: UP. And 1 minute of New Emperor to filter E:E through NSE. Because a project I’m gearing up for will require some new software expertise on my part.

Today, at work, I did something I’ve done at other customer-facing jobs but never did here, due to lack of motivation or energy or whatever else.
I made a spreadsheet (Google Sheets) I can use to standardize and templatize the account notes for customer interactions fall within some of the most common call/email types.
Took me a few hours to get it set up today, as per the usual when I do things like this.

But the time savings moving forward from not having to manually type the same notes over and over? WORTH IT.

I used Excel in the previous jobs. But GSheets has made huge strides to kicking Excel’s ass when it comes to automation. Since GSheets uses JavaScript for their back-end scripting, and, last I knew, Excel uses VBA (Visual BASIC for Applications). VBA is useful, but its based on the BASIC programming language.

Anyway, Index Gate: Ultimate Programmer kicks ASS. Esp when with Emperor and New Limitless

It bugs me when people talk about making a quantum leap in their business. So the tiniest measurable movement possible?

So…i need to get more squarely into skill development

Skills to pay the bills.

Copywriting being a big one.

As far as titles to help me along, I’m thinking UW and True Sell. Would G:Mogul would add enough in there to warrant a slot?

i.e. is the juice worth the squeeze in this use case?
