Overexposure reconciliation symptoms list

Hello all,

I want us to contribute on this thread and make an ongoing list of perceived symptoms and check if they are linked to overexposure/overwhelming/reconciliation.

:red_circle: If the symptoms disappear after the washout then we know they were from overexposure/recon.
If not then they could be linked to other conditions. :red_circle:

:point_right: Since we all are unique, overexposure could also manifest while respecting the official guidelines.
For me, for some dense titles, I have to cut down to 5 min per loop (ZP) and getting 2-3 days rest to not feel overwhelmed.

Let’s use words which people may search for on this forum.

I’ve noticed that the main sign for me, which indicates that I am overexposed are my eyes:

All my symptoms:

  • eyes dark circles
  • eyes dark corners
  • eyes itching / dry eyes
  • pressure in the back of the eyes
  • strange taste in the mouth / metal taste
  • pressure around face and head
  • hard to articulate words / hard to speak
  • drowsiness / sleepiness during wake time
  • need more sleep than usual
  • hard to be present in the moment / loss of attention
  • increased procrastination / lazyness
  • less motivated to no motivation
  • anxiety / panick attack
  • nightmares (very rare though, but if this happens I know it is time to take a longer washout).

After a period of washout those signs are decreasing in evidence.

I just went through it myself a week or two back. Here’s my post from my journal.

Finding the sweet spot of increasing results while decreasing recon effects is the best strategy imo.

What I’ve noticed is that running Libertine in the stack greatly contributes in energizing the mind and body and making recon less intense.
I wonder if anyone felt this or if anyone found a certain title to soften the recon.

  • Feeling despondent
  • Feeling apathetic (nothing matters/what’s the point?)
  • Feeling sad

Luckily not felt that very much lately since I view subs less as “will do stuff to me” and more like they’re just collections of scripting that go into my subconscious “toolbox” to be used as needed.

I have been doing Khan1/Khan4, and sometimes putting Chosen in. Did get hit with recon like the above for a few hours, because Khan1 is showing me stuff about my life I need to “fix”.

I get a lot of tension in my jaw muscles, sometimes it even makes a crackling sound when I stretch it.

Don’t take as a critic, but doesn’t a lot of these things can be due to a million other causes…

I just say this because isn’t there the risk that people start giving credit to recon for serious illnesses too?

Maybe I’m a bit exagerating though lol

Of course.

That’s why I mentioned that they start to disappear after a washout.

For me in general is sleepiness, procrastination, getting easily irritated by people, situations, etc.

This obviously has physical consequence too, like in OP eyes are what mainly reflects my situation too, and physical tension in general ( getting tight in the upper body, not grounded)

BTW when I first started using DR I didnt even read how to use it (shame on me ) so no washout periods, everyday use and so on… Overexposure syntoms where (mentally) waaaaay worse then above

oh, I clearly remember I had such symptoms before ZP when it was Qv2. Every third day I was sad, apathetic and despondent hahaha. also very aggressive and irritable.

For me it’s two recon symptoms:

  • being incredibly irritated at nothing at all (normally vanishes within an hour)
  • fatigue (although I would even put that more into the “need lots of processing” category)

Both are increasingly rare. I’m making it a point now to only run subs for things I’m taking action on anyway already. E.g. if I’m putting more focus on martial arts training I’ll run Spartan to support that. I will not run Spartan hoping that it’ll cause me to focus more on the training. The same goes for any other sub.

The effect of that is that any sub I run has pathways to express at all times, and that takes most reconciliation away.

Just be careful not to compare yourself to others because while some person may be able to carry ten gallons another may have a hard time carrying two gallons.

Each being a unique expression of its composite nature.

The most important of all to find a momentum that stretches your growth but neither depletes you this is a proper balance and serves you the most lest you crash and have to restart the engine.

Spiraling ever upwards to greater states of development.

Never taking a break, never overstretching yourself but to slow down or increase velocity according to your internal mental, emotional, and spiritual resources which are available to you.

A subliminal program requiring a certain amount, alchemizing this program without the RESOURCES (Edit my bad) would be like cooking without heat and will not leave you with the intended outcome.

This is my advice and I hope it is helpful.

Those symptoms you mentioned are obvious signs of bodily weakness and sickness you must take care of your health if you want to become effective with subs… All the best!

It is not innate to a program to cause these symptoms but to you REaction to it according and relative to your bodily, mental and spiritual health strength and development.

So grow ever higher and reach the Stars! :fire:

The worst of all reconciliations is overexposure (it’s horrific and you do not have to nor want to be in this position but you must barometer your resources carefully).

This overexposure is not a fixed thing, many things can influence you for the better or worse.

If you are drained and still listen you will treat dangerous territory this I can tell you from experience! (overexposing yourself into burnout).

I don’t think so, everyone. This is quickly going to descend into “everything that happens in my life is a result of recon,” and then comes the weird conspiracy theories, tons of questions, etc.

For example, “dark circles around the eyes?”

In all my time using and creating subs, I’ve never heard of this before and is more likely the result of lack of sleep than recon or overexposure. And now, every time a person has circles around their eyes, they’ll blame Diamond instead of getting checked out.

Unfortunately, this thread will cause more issues than help. You can always report any kind of potential adverse effects on your journal or to support, but lists like this could be misconstrued as giving medical advice, which we can’t allow.

It could also entice people to overexpose because they think they can handle what’s being reported.

You guys shouldn’t be overexposing anyway. The majority of any potential issues are mitigated by running less, not more.
