Same results in all of your testing period?
@Leandros : What made a difference was whether I was taking action or not. It wasn’t when I was listening to the sub.
Honestly, I don’t feel them much, but I try to vary the listening situation:
- Focusing on my objectives
- Reading the copy
- Watching a film
- Gaming
- Writing erotica
But since I don’t feel them, it’s hard to determine the influence it has on my results. And results I mostly notice through my journal.
I think when im mentally engaged and enthusiastic about it especially through a movie or some content scene that’s mentally/emotionally stimulating it hits deeper, i viscerally feel every sub like a specific flavour that even has a colour and feeling while playing it.
I also intake subconsciously traits of characters that are desirable.
I’ve been wondering about whether there’s a kind of ‘optimal’ way to listen to Subs, although I suppose it’s entirely possible that even if there was an ‘answer’, it would vary from person to person.
I’m not sure if the best way is to close my eyes, clear my mind and just let it wash over me.
Or to focus my thoughts on questions and actions related to the Sub in question, as I listen to it.
I worry that if I’m reading or browsing whilst watching, that it’s either not going to be so well-received, or I’m going to stress myself neurologically by having my brain ‘focusing’ on two things at once.
Has there ever been a post advising on best practice for Sub listening? I looked around previously but didn’t see one
For me its most enjoyable and engaging to sub listen while playing a movie scene with music that engages my mind enthusiastically with the sub theme.
So if its khan then something that displays and inspires conquest, abundence of women and wealth, dominance… etc type of visual audio content
Both are true. Your brain is in Alpha when you first wake. It passes into alpha when falling asleep. You’re brain cycles through the deeper states while asleep. So any state close to sleep (waking or falling) is a more “open” state.
However…
This, because these are subliminals. The whole purpose is that they bypass the conscious mind. In theory, there is no point in being in a highly suggestable state because we aren’t self-hypnotizing. They ought to work regardless of brainwave state.
Sure, whatever you like to do. I would caution anybody against trying to min-max their subs by overthinking little details like this because it can lead many into overthinking things that, even if they have an effect, it’s marginal and not worth worrying about.
Why worry about shaving off inches, when you haven’t even cut down the tree?
Its not only about optimal extra benefits but also having an enjoyable experience of listening to subs, like a buddhist tea ritual experience, you make it a special ritual for you to enjoy.
Yeah, makes sense. I mean by being in a more suggestable state, you are probably more open and sensitive to what’s happening in your subconscious. Then by getting inspiration related to what your trying to do with the subs, it’s helping you with reconciling the information.
Seems legit.
I was replying to the other comment about being open to suggestion. Since we aren’t self-hypnotizing, then being more suggestable shouldn’t really effect the subliminals. It’s a different modality even if both effect the subconcious.
And yeah, doing a ritual that you enjoy is great!
I’ve found it most effective to empty my mind of mental chatter and focus on my breathing.
I think it does have a positive effect, in such states i feel the subliminal while playing more viscerally through my body, like a wave of energy and the more i feel into it, its anchoring it inside me to my bones and spreading this energy inside.
Nevertheless, we have an inner “entity” that guards our subconscious. At least that was the theory I learned when I studied hypnosis.
And yes, subliminals circumvent this.
But I guess only to a point. That’s why you have people stonewalling. Something inside keeps the sub from working.
And thats where I think listening when tired could help. When you’ve worked the whole day, are to tired to discuss stuff and just want to lay down and relax or even sleep. I’d imagine that your inner guardian is more likely to be tired as well and let more of the subconscious message in.
For me that just increases recon, if I listen to subs when tired or fatigued. So I avoid that.
I listened to my stack right after waking up—all three audios. I kept my eyes shut and focused on my breathing. I felt bliss in my chest and energy coursing through my body. I’m experiencing no recon whatsoever, and the results are blooming. I’m going to stick to this routine.
Thanks for your post, mate.
so you listen to your 3 titles back to back to back in one day?
If you don’t mind, what’s your listening schedule and length?
EDIT: WOAH! Just saw your post in the WANTED thread, so you go full 15 min for all 3 titles on back to back days? DAMN!
I am new here(just finished my 2nd cycle on washout) and everything I read from the forum; I am still trying to find my sweetspot.
I am torn between my intuition telling me run full 15 min loops vs reading all these posts how others get more results from 5 min microloops.
Just listen to your intuition.
Healthy reminder: You gotta understand the rule before you break it.
Some of us here use more than two a day, listen every day instead of every other day, taking little to no washout at the end of the cycle.
But there’s one thing in common, we already understood how we react to the base recommendation and adjust after that to fit our goals best. These are for advanced users who understand how they react best to subs. I’d highly recommend you build a solid understanding first using the normal schedule, then reiterate after.
Some opt for more exposure, but some also use less than the recommendation.
That’s something you’ll naturally understand better the more you use subs.
If you think that you get your best results from 15m, then go for 15m, rofl.
Keep a journal of how it goes. Iterate from there.
The only way to know your sweet spot is by experimenting.
This
Also it’s important to understand that long-term users already cleared a lot of trauma, worked on their processing etc.
It’s like in these racing games. With a fully pimped car, you can do stunts that would lead to an immediate crash if you’d try it with a beginners car.
Of course they do, since recon not only diminishes—or even nullifies—the most immediate results but also hinders the most important element of the whole transformation: taking action. Staying away from it is a valid approach.
There’s nothing to be excited about. I could go far beyond that, but there’s no point in doing so. I’ve tested insane listening patterns only to find that there’s no essential difference between staying in your sweet spot and pushing yourself to the limits in terms of getting the most immediate results. Of course, the main difference is that you can get hit by recon really hard if you toy around with higher exposure times. On the other hand, some people have experienced recon even with 30-second loops.
I would recommend focusing on optimizing the actions you take daily rather than trying to find the perfect exposure formula. Besides, there isn’t one, since our minds are not static entities. Hence, following the recommended pattern is reasonable, as it was set by experts, even though everyone has different capacities.
