No reply to Refund Request Support Ticket for 3 weeks

Hey guys,

I hate to post this here as the forum is about feedback and discussion on Subliminals, but I’ve had no response to a support ticket for three weeks and I’m not sure where to ask about it.

I submitted a ticket requesting a refund because a while back I bought (licensed) a bunch of subliminal modules with the intention of ordering a custom sub. After some thought, I decided against it in favor of just ordering standard subs from the store, since I’ve been happy with results from the first one I used.

So I never ordered a custom, I just have a collection of licensed modules I won’t be using. I started a support ticket (#8238) on May 16th to get a refund but haven’t heard back.

How can I get this taken care of? Thanks.

Is there a refund for modules?

Unfortunately it does say in red letters at the shopping cart that there are no refunds on module licenses

I hope so. Since I won’t be making a custom, I’ll never hear them or use them.

I assumed this was for modules that have been actually implemented in a custom. No refunds for modules that will never be heard or used? I mean, what does one do with a module license if it’s not in a custom? Can I actually use them as subliminals on their own without ordering a custom?

@Hezlitt the idea is that you build up your personal module library that you can use for any custom in the future.

On the bright side you’re only 99$ away from a personalized sub :hugs:

Name inbed and all
So those modules will be ready when you’ll be too

I hope you’ll find some peace within your problem…

I mean, why do you license modules if you don’t put them in a custom in the same sense?

I only ever licensed modules right when purchasing the custom?

Doesn’t help you now, but maybe next time

…that I don’t want. I do love your positive attitude, though!

Thanks for your message. I hope I can just get a refund for the modules. I cooled on the idea of a “name embed” custom after I bought them. I’m happy with the results from the sub I bought from the store and plan on buying from there instead of ordering a custom.

The custom thing was an impulse thing, I’m now I’m worried I lost this money on something I won’t be using.

Rather then requesting a refund why not just keep them for the future ?

Perhaps 6 months to a year from now you may want to build a custom ?

Thanks @Monarch , I read this before asking for the refund. There is no fraud since I did not order a custom and haven’t used any of the licenses I purchased.

Buying them at the same time would have been a simpler way in retrospect. I purchased the modules as I was planning the custom I wanted. Then changed my mind on the whole thing AFTER buying the licenses, but BEFORE ordering the custom.

Honestly, it’s because after some inquiries, I didn’t feel super confident about how a unique, often mispronounced name would be addressed in the order process. I decided I’d rather just do standard subs instead of roll the dice on a custom.

You can se’d a ticket a bout it, with the pronunciation linked to it before you make your custom, video/correct pronunciation type of stuff etc…

You can send the link directly into the name input frame too some do that and it seems to work just fine too

It will do the work

We’re number to have that problem
And yet our custom work just fine

I don’t think you’re understanding the refund policy then. It doesn’t matter that you didn’t purchase a custom, or have not used the licensed modules.

The policy CLEARLY states refunds will not be issued on any licensed modules for ANY circumstances. It’s not up for interpretation.

If that is the refund policy concerning modules which have not and will not be used/listened to, then I’m not understanding it.

I would love to hear from admin about this. How do I reach them directly to get a definitive answer?

Welcome to the forums @Hezlitt,

I sympathize with the issue and I do wish I could just straight up issue a refund - however, this is putting us in a very precarious position.

While I cannot disclose the internal processes, I will just say that licensing modules falls under the refund policy just as much as the build costs.

This was one of the points we developed intensely, as we know a large number of our forum members and customers are international. Our Q AI can easily pronounce the vast, vast majority of foreign names with no issues - and if one is still worried about it, it is enough to send us a voice recording of you pronouncing your name.

That way, there is absolutely zero margin for error.

We cannot issue a refund for the modules as pertaining to the refund policy on Q as well as the user agreements, but what I can do is answer your questions directly and help you make a more informed decision, now or later down the line - up to you.

Go ahead and shoot me a private message here on the forums.
