Nightmare recon go down or ride it out

Just wondering if someone experiences recon in the form of violent nightmares should they stay at the same listening time and try to ride it out/fight it or reduce the listening time?

Currently listening to paragon:7 minutes, considering going down to 3

I’d go down to maybe 5-6 first. Don’t wanna drop down so much that you miss out on potential progress.

I’d consider double checking your physical day-to-day routine. For example, I notice nightmares take place in response to physiological and environmental changes for me. My dreams tend to be more vivid and uncomfortable (or nightmareish) when I overheat when sleeping. Eating too late, or foods that could raise your blood pressure (like pork) after a certain time can do the same.

Considering that Paragon is processing as you sleep, particular cells could, in theory, be heating your body as a result of ongoing healing. (It brings to mind discourse around the immune system, autophagy, and inflammation responses). Perhaps 7 minutes is working optimally for you, but you need to adjust some things to optimize your sleep/comfort.

I’d test out those few ideas first prior to reducing exposure if you are unsure. If you do intuitively want to reduce exposure, all’s good because you’ll still be getting input from the sub.

Best of luck :slightly_smiling_face::+1:

Here is what I would ask myself: “Are the nightmares impairing my healing? Such as, are they creating stress or sleep problems?”

I might decrease the listening a minute and notice what happens.

I’ve had some nightmares but who cares. If anything I got to wake up and think “holy shit thank god this is the real world” hahahahaha

Get that gratitude boost in

When I get these nightmares, I think “thank God that this has been processed and isn’t hindering my day-to-day life anymore.”

Based and same in a way.

Not necessarily thank god, more of a “there is definitely lots of processing going on in the background, I got a glimpse and maybe I should dive deeper”

Yeah, this is my response also. BTW Saint, great job on new EoG ST1, I’ve been having nightmares pretty much every night and it’s really amazing to see so much trash being cleared out so quickly.

Idk what y’all have done, but the new healing scripting particularly in EoG ST1 and Khan ST1 is really special. There doesn’t feel like there is much confusion about what is happening or why it’s happening. Even when annoying, it all feels like it makes intuitive sense.

I had a violent dream just the other day. I simply look at it as “things are happening”, and go back to regular schedule.

I had a chain of nightmares that lasted for months when using WB.
I think I documented it in my journal.

If it messes up your sleep too much, stop.
If it’s that bad, ride it out.

Nightmares happened with RoD for me. It was related to a past competency issue, it helped process some stuck emotions. I stopped that title after that tho. Maybe I should restart it again

Are you using microloops with RoD?
