Hi, I’ve been placed into a role at work for a couple of months which is outside the area of expertise.
Any advice or recommendations for subs to increase handle the situation easier?
I’m thinking Limitless but what else??
Im going to assume that this is some sort of junior management role that they are getting you to experience different parts of the organisation.
If so, you need to decide where “you” want to go and if this is beneficial in terms of politics. Does the management of the new role matter? and you need to realise that whilst you need to be near the top you should never be the star performer.
So how about something that will generate respect for you like Emperor.
Limitless is great when stacked with Ascended Mogul. Double dose of productivity plus the learning aspect of limitless.
Definitely depends on the role: if you already have some power(from knowledge, information control, very good network) in the organization, Emperor is the bomb. With Emperor helping took me about 3 years to land a VP position from a Director. But I had no issues telling my boss’s boss: “you’re wrong, here’s why”.
On the other hand, if this a entry level management position I would recommend Stark. I swear by intellectual gains (mostly in problem solving using patterns) and you’ll be so much more cooperative and building a strong network, as opposed to Emperor.

Yeah it’s leading a small team with some junior members on a mine site that deal with some big egos in other departments.
I would recommend Stark then. Emperor and other big egos (without having some kind of leverage over them) doesn’t sound ideal 
I never run Ascended Mogul, so I can’t comment on it.
