New Name Change Policy

@JCast

I’m not sure what you are requesting.

I thought I was supposed to say what my names in the past were or was. My mistake

Thank you for asking!

Yes, please post all your previous names on your profile. If you want or need help with that, just ask. If you have a privacy concern about a previous name, enter a support ticket for approval.

@RVconsultant I don’t recall all of my prior names

I think that is a legitimate concern.

I did give this some thought.

Please look at this and notice which ones you might have actually used, even if it was for a short time:

EmperorDaddy
EmperorOvTheAbyss
DogPool
King Apathy
Emperor James

It looks correct. I will update my profile later today. Thank you

As long as the change was requested in the “Change Forum Name?” Thread, you just have to hit search, @username + check “search this topic” and you’ll get all requests done by that name. Only the first name isn’t available. Or if the change was requested in another thread like a journal.

I did, my first one used my real name and I wish for that to remain anonymous if possible.

The only one missing is JC.

@RVconsultant

Personally I found this useful, but has this new policy been dropped now?

Some frequent name changers haven’t been asked to list their old names, and others that listed their names have since made their accounts private.

So is this policy active or not?

Active and ongoing.

@RVconsultant How do we go about changing our username? Don’t see an option to do so.

Haven’t changed my name since I got here. My profile is on private, but will un-private in case I do change it to abide by the guidelines.

So you select employees based on whether they fit your sense of humour ?. How about selecting them based on whether they can do the job or not.

I think this is a Swedish thing.
