New member and journal SS+WB

Lol not a salesman huh? :smirk: jk. Out of curiosity, is there anything that is more “low-key”? WB and some of the others talk about being the center of attention, which I don’t necessarily want.

Think I had a slight recon today. Felt kinda tired and moody and unmotivated. Could partly be from the weather though…

Day 3 rest day.

Feel tired today. Maybe recon, not sure. Only ran 3 loops in total so far. Have only ran SS though I now have WB, Libertine, Rebirth, and BDLM. Figured I’ll just stick to one if I’m feeling tired from just one.

Day 4.

Was feeling tired and irritable off and on yesterday. I woke up today feeling pretty good, had pleasant vivid dreams (although I don’t remember what they were). Ran SS for 5 minutes and WB for 3:30 minutes. I know WB is dense based on my reading which is why I reduced time for both, and also to decrease recon if possible.

Edit: night time now, didn’t experience any recon. Feel pretty good which is nice :slight_smile: no tiredness or irritability.

Your enthusiasm is admirable. Please make sure you remember to re-read the PDF that came with your purchase. Rest days are important.

For sure, I always go back and reference the PDF. I was feeling recon from 15 minutes of SS by itself, so 15 minutes of both SS and WB would probably give me mad recon so I was thinking of doing just 5 minutes of each every other day (or 7 minutes).

WB is an “artisan” title.

Cut back to 5-7 minutes of SS for a while, that should be a bit better. See how you feel from there.

Also, since you’re feeling a lot of overload and recon, don’t be afraid to take an extra day off.

Then, start bt incorporating a 30s loop of WB, that’ll be POWERFUL. Wait 48-72 hours to see how it affects you. Then if it’s wise, run a 1m loop, or, if you got some benefits from the 30s loop, just stay there for a few loops!

If 30s or 1min gives you recon, stay there for a while, but eventually don’t be afraid to increase it even if that means a slight recon boost. Recon is something to avoid, but not something to be afraid of unnecessarily.

Oh no, today I already ran a 5 minute loop of SS and 3:30 minute loop of WB and felt okay, no recon as far as I could tell. I think I felt a bit tired for an hour or two but then felt normal/good. Went to the gym also so maybe that helped. I think WB gave me a big boost in a good way.

Day 5 rest day.

Shoot, was feeling okay earlier, but now feeling recon I think: really tired, unmotivated, just bleh. Was a bit irritable earlier also. Just tired and sleepy, a little anxiety also. Will see how I feel later. Anyone know of good methods to combat recon? Watch a movie, eat certain foods etc.?

Edit: Nighttime now, got back from one of my jobs, and wow, I was feeling kind of down at first, but then pretty much every interaction I had with a girl was flirty. Like I was talking to one girl, wasn’t attracted to her, but I was able to look her right in the eyes while talking (I usually look away a lot), and could think clearly/not slur my words at all (which I also usually do a lot out of nervousness?). Now I’m in a pretty good mood :slight_smile:

You start from the beginning the next time you run it. Start from 0.00.

Day 6.

Listened to SS for 5 minutes from the 5 minute point, and WB for 3:30 minutes from the 3:30 point. Honestly feel kinda weird and anxious, but maybe that’s because I’m worried I did it wrong (should’ve listened from 0:00), like what’s gonna happen? Am I gonna depersonalize and literally become John Wingliss himself but with PUA skills? Lol. Also I’m a bit sick with a sore throat. That’s all for now.

Day 7 rest day.

Got crappy sleep, might’ve been related to a slightly caffeinated drink I had late at night though… Aside from that, felt angry and irritable for the first 30 minutes or so after waking up, then ate and drank coffee, then felt fine. No discernible recon which is nice :slight_smile: and every time I go out, I seem to get checked out by women everywhere o.o like they look at me with a smile, and this is not normal for me lol. I’m not a bad looking guy, but even so, that rarely happened to me before. Also, I noticed I have no problem walking up to people (girls particularly) and conversing, and all the convos seem to go smoothly and there’s no anxiety or fear of loss/outcome on my part. It’s awesome and fun. Haven’t really “gamed” though as I’ve been sick the past 2-3 days, but these are the observations I’ve noted so far. And so far so good!

Edit: may switch to Primal as some of the OG’s have suggested here.

Day 8.

Had vivid sexual dreams before I woke up. Should I post details? Lol. Was fun and interesting… Running 5 min of SS and 3-3:30 minutes of WB right now.

Edit: actually only did 2 minutes of WB just to play it safe.

Edit: afternoon now. Been sick all day. Nose running, congestion headache, slight cough. It’s just annoying af. I wanted to do things tonight as it’s the last weekend of August, may have to hold off. Also it’s my gym day, but will probably skip that too.

Day 9 rest day.

Still sick but recovering. Had a headache for most of the day due to congestion. Felt shitty overall, then finally decided to take an Advil (ibuprofen) and feel much better. Annoyed that my last weekend of August was spent being sick and infirm -_- Perhaps some of what I’m dealing with is recon, hard to tell when I’m actually sick lol. Hopefully will be close to full recovery tomorrow knock on wood.

I had a week like that. Turned out to be influenza B strain and everyone I know who had it also had conjunctivitis with it. Real strange stuff.

Hope you get better soon, I was taking paracetamol and ibuprofen before bed each night which helped.
