Difficult to explain, as with all of these types of titles. They all have a lot of depth and words don’t quite do it justice. Even writing copy for them is difficult, as they all sound similar, but have very different effects. But, I will try. If you’ve used Summertime or LBfH, there is the obvious nervous system regulation effect, but then this subtle warmth and joy (Summertime) or compassionate love for yourself and others (LBfH) that emerges that you can feel somatically.
This is different. Rather than this sort of new, deeply instilled emotion that persists, this is more… well, peace. Rather than the “gentle wall” that you can feel on GLM and Dragon Reborn: Regeneration, where you can quietly and softly observe emotions without experiencing them (in a matter of speaking, if you’ve run GLM, you know what I mean), this is more like the emotions just flow through you without resistance and then dissipates.
So, while GLM and Dragon Reborn: Regeneration is about observing, Peace is about release. Rather than “becoming,” you gain this sense of “I already am.” It is great for meditation, energetic cultivation or anything that requires you to become calm, or flow, quiet the mind – any of those concepts.
Action taking became easier, since the inner critic is largely silent. There’s a lot less inner processing going on as well, especially when compared to Dragon Reborn: Regeneration. More… acceptance, lol. I know, it sounds cryptic – very difficult to explain.
Rather than mining the emotions for meaning, meaning comes through the release and the forward progression of life, flowing with it and finding insight in every situation, regardless of whether it’s a “good event” or “bad event” that occurs.
I will say my favorite two features are:
The Deep Stillness
Helps you reach the living quiet beneath the noise — the vast, restful silence that was always there underneath your thoughts. Not the brittle silence of a held breath, but a depth that asks nothing and restores everything.
This becomes a wellspring you can return to at will. The constant low activation that had become your baseline finally, fully releases, and you rise from it calmer and clearer than before.
Peace as the Natural Way (Ziran)
Helps peace settle in as your baseline self — ziran, being so of itself, without effort. The goal of this entire journey: not a calm you must maintain, but a calm you simply live from, so natural you stop noticing you’re at peace at all.
In your life, this is the quiet arrival. Stress still comes and passes; the ten thousand things still rise and fall. But peace is no longer something you do. It is simply who you’ve become.
And honestly, that’s what it feels like. Or at least, that’s what could be achieved.
See, that’s the thing – it doesn’t feel like “healing.” It feels like “peace.” Acceptance. “It is what it is.” “Life will do as it pleases, I will flow with it.” It’s that vibe. Feels very courageous, too. Deep sense of discovery has emerged, but I wouldn’t say “childlike imagination.” Feels very mature. Like a mature sense of exploration and discovery is emerging.
I could literally feel my nervous system releasing deep rooted junk while meditating. I’d suddenly get super hot, feel a wave of negative emotion and then it would just pass, especially if I didn’t attach to it, which the script makes easy.
There’s no co-regulation in the script (although, co-regulation occurs naturally between people), and yet @Fire identified when I was testing the title without me telling him. We were sitting there working, and he suddenly says with a smirk, “What’d you do?”
I feigned ignorance and he remarked that my energy had shifted, and was very “chill.” That’s when I let him know that I had been quietly testing it.
So yeah, that was a bit all over the place.
