Name and identity

This is a random thought and question but do y’all believe that your name has a specific energy behind it? I recently decided to use my birth name and also made a custom with that name and I am beginning to realize ever since I started going by that name, a lot of different things related to my culture have been coming to me through different thoughts and ideas. Growing up I was called by my American name and looking at that version of myself now, it seems like a whole different identity

sure,I had custom with different name,it definitely hit different parts …hard to describe it…when I used my Chinese given name…it brings out things that relates to my past…whereas the English name ,I feel like I am building up something new from the scratch….almost like actor building a character….

Nomen est omen.

Name is the key to every myth and legend. Every legend has its hero, and every hero has their name. Your name is the key to your legend as it defines your identity - the heart of your legend.

Choose your name, choose your identity, choose your destiny. All of us have the power to destroy and create ourselves as we will if only we were valiant enough to do so. To destroy what THEY’ve made of us and create ourselves to our liking is the privilege of the great.

This is epic!. Reading this has some ideas generating. Now that I’m embracing my name, how do I want to write my story.
