Mogul | Emperor: The Executive

After a month-long washout, it’s time for the next run. I’m focusing on wealth for the next year and a half. I’m running Mogul and the Executive to start. Here what I want to get out of both programs:

Mogul:

  • Uproot any and all negative wealth beliefs and replace them with positive wealth beliefs
  • To learn and implement better financial habits
  • I’m looking to earn more at my current job by picking up more shifts
  • Plus more

The Executive:

  • I’m looking to become a action-taking machine
  • To quit dopamine seeking activities such as binge-watching Netflix, streamers, and watching porn
  • Develop confidence and ambition
  • Plus more

I run the first loops tomorrow.

Ran 30s of both yesterday. I haven’t noticed much yet. I’m going to increase by 30s every other day until I find the sweet spot.

Mogul + Executive is the ideal wealth stack. Excellent choice :ok_hand:.

I’m recognizing all of the ways in which I’m already wealthy: I’m single man with my own apartment, I’ve got food, water, a job, my body is intact(I’ve got my arms, legs, a healthy heart), I’m still young, I’ve got clothes to wear, etc

Looking at this small list tells me I’m really rich. And I’m grateful.

Questions on my mind:

How do I get out of the employee mindset ?

What problems can I solve?

A coworker gave me his perspective on why he thinks people struggle financially. He says it’s because people don’t put themselves first.

I just completed a brain dump writing exercise that I’ve been procrastinating for months on. Right after I finished, I jumped into a cold shower without any hesitation.

I picked up a 10hr shift tomorrow. Gonna be working overtime. I haven’t done that in a while.

Today, I’ve been working out my focus muscle. I just “do nothing” and let myself be bored for about 5-15 minutes at time. By nothing I truly mean nothing at all. I just sit and let my mind wander. I wanna starve my brain of instant and cheap dopamine. This exercise is also good for creativity. Here’s an a quote from an email I got today: " Boredom is Your Brain’s Bootloader - Constant stimulation kills original thought. Boredom forces your mind to generate ideas, connect dots, and surface deeper questions."

I’m contemplating on whether or not I should invest in this $500 copywriting course. It seems to be a manifestation. I have a history of buying courses and barely starting them let alone finish them. This has me hesitant.

I’m still working out my focus muscle. When I do sit and “do nothing”, I notice that the front of my brain is more active. Must be the executive functioning doing its thing.

I just sat in silence and did nothing for an hour and a half. I’m really trying to work on resetting my dopamine and I think the executive is pushing me in that direction. I’m slowly losing interest in doing cheap dopamine activities such as watching tv or masturbating to porn.

FOCUS. DEDICATED. HUNGRY.

These words are on repeat in my head right now.

I felt really energized this morning. I woke up around 4:10am after only about 6.5 hours of sleep, but I didn’t feel the need to go back to sleep.

I worked 10 hours today and didn’t feel tired at all.

Woke up at 4am again this morning. I didn’t feel as energized as the previous two days. I even went back to sleep after I finished my morning routine. Maybe my body and brain has to get used to it.

I worked six days in a row. All 10 hour shifts.

My thoughts have been really pushing me to start learning copywriting. I’m hesitant though. Maybe I should buy that course.

Another good idea might be to invest in a book. One of my favorite reads about copywriting is “Hypnotic Writing” by Joe Vitale.

A “how-to” book like that would be a much smaller commitment/investment than a full course.

I totally understand the idea of the course might be more of an “I’m ready!” signal to G*d, The Universe, or Whatever.

But I think also that committing to reading from a book like that and doing whatever daily exercises from it could be just as effective of a “signal”

Another resource I made use before is CopyHour by Derek Johansson. Not sure what that costs now. It was gifted to me by a friend before.

I went to see my psych today . She’s switching out my medication from Effexor to Wellbutrin, which is supposed to help more with dopamine.

I completed a 24hr fast this morning.

Edit: forget to mention my psych scheduled the next visit free of charge.
