A conversation I was in on here, in another post, just got me to thinking:
A master of sailing can use any direction of wind or any strength of wind to move in any direction. A master sailor can, for example, harness a powerful westward wind and use it to push the boat towards the north. The highest of skilled masters can use a northward blowing wind and tack against it to guide the boat towards the south. Similarly, a master cyclist can barely pedal at all and still remain easily balanced and upright on the bicycle.
So I just started imagining,
There could be a user of subliminals on our forum here who truly mastered Conscious Guidance of subliminals to the point where that could play almost any program, and harness the energy and the script to push them in their desired direction.
Rather than asking, ‘Can this program do X?’ or ‘Will that program help me to do Y’, they would read the description and listen to the subliminal as if they were ‘tasting the wind’, and then they would feel out how best to make use of this stimulus to push them in whatever direction they choose.
How might mastery in this skill influence the way a person approached subliminal use in general?
Of course, the easiest and most logical approach is to find the program (or ‘the wind’) that is most closely aligned with one’s desired direction.
At the same time, like all of the mad people in the world who work on incredible skills, it might also be a fun challenge to see how well one could face the challenge of harnessing any program in one’s desired direction.
Anyway, that last bit is not really my point. I just think that in addition to the amazing Flow Factor, it’s also a pretty awesome aspiration to build up one’s strength in Conscious Guidance.
Flow Factor is like a lightweight but powerful skiff that responds immediately to the changes of the wind.
Conscious Guidance is like an elite quality rudder and steering system, maximally responsive to one’s touch and intention.
Both together should be amazing.
