MALKUTH The Phenomenaut

I never found/created my intellectual home. I think that part of my path may be to do so.

All perceptions arise in, and are comprised of, consciousness;

Whether I choose to follow the implications of that reality to greater freedom, or to remain lost, wandering, and oppressed within a Hall of Mirrors, is

up to me.

Day 8 of resting from subliminals

Went the old school route this morning and did an early-ish meditation hour—5:55 to 6:55

I’ll see how my energy and wakefulness fare throughout the rest of the day.

In setting targets, aim to integrate the Ideal with the Actual.

Use subliminals to strengthen and nurture nascent realities and potential.

Identify positive developments in your self or life that are currently maxing out at occurring 5 to 15 percent of the time and then apply the subliminal to help them to break past that plateau and occur much more often.

Another 5:55 to 6:55 meditation today. Not really intentional. Guess this is just where the bodymind’s at these days.

Majestic clouds inhabiting the sky right now.

I’ll go back to get a bit more rest if my body’s willing to do that.

Also, last night was my first time in months to do the full 6 mile hill walk that I used to do every day.

I’ve been walking home from work, which means walking down the hill (office is 3 miles from home at the top of a hill. But I’ve not been walking there. It was a pandemic ritual. But glad to see that it’s not gone away.

Now that I think of it, something is definitely going on. There have been a number of moves in the past week related to greater health and physical self-care, and it feels like it’s just getting started. Hope that’s true.

Been on a break from my stack since last week Tuesday. It’s Friday now. I’ll resume today or tomorrow, I think.

Interesting and interesting.

My brain, today, is slipping into Big Picture, Global-style thoughts.

A lot of early morning wakings (and sometimes meditations) lately.

Woke up today at 5:45 am or so. Meditated in the early am.

Got a little more rest. And now here we are at work.

@Lion Looks like I’m taking the baton from you for doing a longer subliminals rest-period.

My internal workings, subliminal, manifestation bank account is way up and very high.

My focused action and external project bank account needs more work.

And I’m thinking that the time is ripe for inclining my attention more in that direction; to apply some of these resources that I’ve spent so much time accumulating.

Not sure for how long I’ll shift the focus. Playing it by ear.

Haha! A washout relay race!

I think you are more logical on why you are taking a washout. Am more intuitive in that regard.

Or if you are intuitive, you are more indepth in how you explain your intuition.

It’s this one.

All of my so-called explanations are rooted in intuition.

I get feelings first and then explore and describe them over and over again. I was just noticing this yesterday with regard to studying languages. But that’s another subject.

A Master in the Making

I’ve been reflecting quite a bit on Reconciliation, processing, and energy; and I think it’s been giving me more insight into what may be happening in Mercury Retrograde.

Mercury, in part, corresponds to our capacity to process, integrate, and communicate what we are experiencing and what is happening. I heard someone say the other day to remember that a retrograde involves apparent motion. In other words, remember that during a so-called ‘retrograde’, Mercury is still orbiting the sun normally, just as it always does. It simply ‘appears’ to be moving backwards relative to the movement of the Earth (i.e., the planet we’re on as we are observing Mercury).

I’ve been thinking about that since I heard him say it, (or since I read him say it, actually).

One way of looking at a retrograde is as a period of time in which Mercury is not ‘able to keep up with’ the degree of movement, activity, and information represented by the Earth’s movement. Similarly, internally, our capacities for processing, integrating, and communicating are not able to keep up with the overall level of energy, change, and the conditions characterizing our overall being.

We’re quite literally ‘taking leave of our senses’.

We blame Mercury for this, calling it ‘The Trickster’, but in fact, Mercury is still doing what it always does. It’s more that there’s a loss of easy synchrony.

Where ‘energy’ comes into it is that about 2 weeks ago, I had a series of mishap occurrences (e.g., tech-, communication-, memory-, organization-related, etc.) that seemed about as Mercury Retrograde as could be; yet we were not yet in the actual retrograde. I won’t go into exhaustive detail about everything that happened; but I will say that the final event that punctuated and more or less concluded that day, literally involved a wild boar charging through the spot where I’d been about 8 seconds earlier.

That actually happened.

And with the kind of day it had been, I just said, ‘okay.’ and kept walking.

Anyway, the point of all that is I’m thinking that through my various practices I ‘artificially induced’ a retrograde situation. In other words, my capacities to process and integrate were unable to keep up with the level of energy and intention that I was pushing through my system. The result was the chaotic, ‘Trickster’ style of energy that people associate with Mercury in Retrograde.

In the days and week afterward, I eased up on the power and energy influx, and things calmed down. And then they got beautiful.

But one of my takeaways from this is that even in a natural Mercury retrograde, we have more choice than I’d realized at first. We need to stay sensitive to our processing capacity and make an effort to calibrate the intensity of our Intentions and Movements accordingly.

This, I’m now seeing, may be a principle underlying the usual counsel to ‘slow down and check things several times before sending them out’ during a retrograde period. It’s not, I’m thinking, because something is out to trick you or out to get you; rather, it’s to protect and accommodate the needs of your own processing capacity.

Anyway. That’s enough for now. Maybe these ideas will develop and mature further as time goes on.

What do you call a retrograde before the Mercury Retrograde?

Pretrograde lol!

Hahaha! Hilarious when we think about it after the fact.

An idea for an invention just popped into my head. It seems so obvious that I wonder if it’s ever been done before.

It has 3 parts:

  1. A human-powered generator-battery charger: By pedaling on a cycle or walking on a treadmill and so on, the person can charge up the electrical battery for those times when external power sources become unavailable.

  2. A dehumidifier

  3. A water purification/filtration system

So this invention would pull moisture from the air and convert it to potable drinking water by means of the purification system.

And these stations could just be placed all over the developing world and in people’s homes. In humid climates, a dehumidifier can get a few liters of water in just 2 hours.

Of course, this should proceed in concert with larger-scale upgrades of running water systems, but it could be a good emergency back-up provision.

I can’t imagine that no one ever tried this.

Joy of Missing Out

Two weeks of washing out so far, and I feel like I might still be experiencing some benefits from my stack.

Yup, it’s been two weeks since I last played my stack, and I’m noticing some of my modules now much more than when I was actively playing them.

Two possible things about me that are a little tricky:

  1. I can handle (in a way) a lot of subliminal stimuli

BUT

  1. My mind is gradual and deliberate. Let’s just say it: slow. It sometimes requires more time to process, integrate, and express what has been input.

Combine the two points above and I don’t get a lot of disruptive recon AND I don’t get a lot of dramatic short-term results either.

I’m kind of suspecting that I could possibly use an alternate version of the listening guidelines.
