MALKUTH, Building : BUILDING, Malkuth

3 or 4 subtle but striking (impossible to ignore) manifestations in the past two weeks related to my ‘spiritual’ path.

Am seeing Sage Immortal, The Alchemist, Yggdrasil, Spiritual Reality Alignment, and Void of Creation in action.

Have been running them since September 7. Early days still.

5th day of washing out. 5 more processing days and then I’ll start my full stack.

I’m working (on job-related tasks), but, right now, I feel a sense of low motivation, lower energy. (Hmm…I think I could use more exercise outside.)

Woke up today at 6:45 AM. Meditated at about 7:30-ish? After that walked 10K steps inside the apartment, while son was still sleeping.

Afterwards, I cooked lunch: sauteed broccoli and chicken, pasta with cheese (he likes), and began stewing lentils (garlic, onions, slight amount of chilis, spinach, and mu er) to eat tomorrow.

After that worked for a bit, but felt sleepy and napped from 3:30 to 4:30 or so. Now I’m preparing for tomorrow’s meetings.

Interesting developments:
(I provide a consultation service in addition to my job, and at present I maintain about 7-8 such ongoing clients. As I ran Ecstasy of Gold and then R.I.C.H. (and some other related subs), these clients seemed to just manifest organically over time. This is not a huge money-making venture, and I enjoy the meetings quite a bit.)

  • 1 client with whom I’ve been meeting once per month requested to increase to weekly meetings. I have time and see that the person can truly benefit right now, and so I said yes.

  • Another with whom I’ve been meeting on a pro bono basis has requested to switch to paid meetings and to formalize the arrangement. I agreed. Should be only once per month or so. (Need to be careful not to overload the schedule.)

So these have occurred and it will be interesting to see how my work will continue to be affected once I begin running the next custom.

As I see it, living things basically do three categories of activities:

  1. We move things (including our bodies)
  2. We think about things (sensing, processing, perceiving, learning, creating, understanding)
  3. We express things (communication and interaction)

I think everything that people do can be reduced to these three categories.

All of your dreams, all of your fears, your successes, your humiliations; really, they’re not much more than those three things.

So, again,

We physically move

We mentally process

and, We express

Beyond that, all that’s left is CONTEXT.

Where and in relation to what (or who) do you Move, Process, and Express?

And that, is your life.

Just cooked my lunch:

Green beans, snow peas, pumpkin. Sliced up and sauteed separately with a bit of garlic.

Salmon, 2 pieces. Also sauteed. With black bean chili sauce and what was left of the garlic.

Fish was delish.

Veggies were good, but I used too much oil.

Now I’m enjoying herbal tea.

In the mornings, I’ll just boil a kettle of hot water, and toss one bag into my trusty vacuum jug

Add water and then drink it over the course of the morning.

Morning meeting seemed to go okay. This one was more of an admin thing. I’m more or less guiding a team. It’s small. Just three of us. Things still need to get more organized. But we’re here.

Afternoon meeting’s cancelled.

Tomorrow’s the 10th processing day.

Then on Saturday, we begin the full stack.

Grateful.

I was thinking this morning that one type of Action that easily gets overlooked is Scanning.

Scanning the inner horizon for the ideas that are coming to you.

I was thinking that if you were stranded on a desert island, and you somehow managed to get your hands on the ‘Escape from Desert Island’ Subliminal, that wouldn’t mean that your next action should be to just jump into the water and start swimming as hard as you could in any direction.

But, a good first step would be to scan the horizons for any new sights that you might notice. A ship or boat in the distance. Or something else.

The scanning itself is an action.

I think people often jump the gun and behave as if everything should already be completely certain. “I’m going to go hard!” kind of thing.

That’s good when the time is right for it; but there are also times in which you are still figuring things out. And during those times, action can mean to pay attention to the plans, possibilities, ideas, and notions that are generated by your mind.

“In climbing we call it the ‘post send’ or ‘the post climb depression,’” continues Wright, “and it’s a real thing, especially when you really stay obsessed and work super hard for something for a long time and then you do it. At first there’s this moment of rapture and just being totally stoked. That quickly dissipates and you’re like, ‘Huh.’ Now you’ve lost that thing that was driving you forward, you lost that thing that you were obsessed over. There’s that moment of emptiness and almost depression that can follow a really hard climb or something that was really meaningful to you. That’s a real thing in climbing for a lot of people.”
