MALKUTH, Building : BUILDING, Malkuth

As I’ve mentioned, one of the ways that my stack has manifested has been in the form of a much higher level of busyness and work volume/intensity.

I usually don’t schedule appointments for Saturdays, but it’s 4:45 pm on Saturday right now, and I’ve just completed my final meeting.

The interesting part is that the proportion of my work that feels meaningful and engaged has increased radically. I had three meetings today and all of them felt meaningful, engaging, and important to me. I find that amazing.

Yo, that was 27 years ago. That was literally the first single off of his first solo release.

He was splashing onto the scene at full-power.

Peace and respect to Bussa-Buss.

So many great songs from this master performer. But this is the one that somehow almost brings a tear to my eye:

When I take fish oil, it is a pure Swedish brand without any additions, and I tend to take 15 g daily. The DHA content of that 15g is 1.8 g, along with 1.2 g EPA. That is indeed a very high dose I take which has usually only been used to heal brain damage in anecdotal stories. I do not get any effects, but my dad gets better vision.

Are you sure you’re taking 3 g/day of EPA/DHA or 3 g/day of fish oil?

I’m out of fish oil completely at the moment, but yes the one I was taking worked out to a combined 2.8g of epa/dha if I took enough of the gelcaps.

Conscious Body

How many muscles in the human body? Approximately 639 (depending on how precisely they are grouped)

How many glands and hormones? Over 50 hormones identified so far and at least 43 glands.

How many bones? 206 (270 at birth)

How many different kinds of cells? Approximately 200 types of cells.

How many neurons are in the nervous system? Around 86 billion neurons in the human brain. About 85 billion non-neuronal cells in the brain (glial and epithelial cells)

Those are descriptions from the outside.

But they are also what you are feeling from the inside.

Any time human beings have found or created something half-decent; any time we have been able to do something that actually works, the first thing we would do is to run out and create a myth around it.

Then we say, ‘If you want this thing that works, you have to buy the myth! They’re a package!’

The end result? Half of the time, people end up being left with just the myth, and have no understanding of what actually worked.

And this is made more complicated by the fact that, in and of themselves, myth, story, and narrative constitute valid technological strategies for configuring and orienting consciousness.

They work excellently.

So, it’s not as simple as saying, ‘these myths are untrue and useless’. The reality is more subtle than that.

For example, if you can kinesthetically/somatically organize (or ‘visualize’) yourself as a spider, it will allow you to relatively quickly organize and access movement patterns that were not possible when you were ‘accurately’ envisioning yourself as a bipedal human.

The “lie” or the “inaccurate assertion” in fact gives rise to new movement realities and environmental relationships that would not otherwise have been possible.

To the person who learns to skillfully work with the protean, malleable ‘clay’ of consciousness and experience; the grounds of ‘truth’ and ‘lie’ are redefined.

One develops a more utilitarian approach to relating to assertions and claims. “Is this statement accurate/true?” becomes “What can I do or accomplish with this statement?”.

Ontological evolution and ontological flexibility.

Here’s another one:

“What is the ‘true’ appearance of a mirror?”

And then consider this: The mind is a mirror; a compound mirror with billions of facets.

Hip inflammation went down and I returned to my run yesterday. Jogged 3.5 miles and felt relatively decent.

There’s another inflammation around left scapula that I know is associated with my heavy bench pressing. So, I’ll hang back on that for a little while. Before coming back to go even harder.

There is no rush. The goal is engagement.

Practice:

And now as you walk around and move through the world, remember–from time to time–what you are.

(And know that what you are remembering Is A Myth.)
