Main Disc. Thread - The NEW Renaissance Man (Now Available! Q-Cores Available!)

I ran RM stage one yesterday morning and after about an hour was just going through idea after idea for this book series i wanted to work on after not really feeling creative for over a month…
Also kinda sick and run down a bit so that was pretty cool that my creative side just shot up

From first hand experience, incredibly. After my first loop, I was able to complete the initial design doc for the next HERO title, which I’ve been working on for quite some time but couldn’t come up with something meaningful. Did a loop of Stage 1, and the solution presented itself to me out of nowhere. I was actually sweeping up something I spilled, and boom. Dropped what I was doing and rushed back to the computer. Everything just “clicked.”

Since then, the ideas have not stopped.

And what were you referring to about the title working well “in moments of stillness?”

I spend what most would consider an extreme amount of time in meditation, if you consider how much of my life I spend focusing on Buddhist/gurdjieff style present moment awareness in every day life.

At this point I’ve done enough meditation that I don’t need to be seated to do it.

What are the moments of stillness and what would one expect in those moments? Ideas? Or would there be an enhanced quality to the stillness without the direct need to abruptly stop the stillness to go create?

I could roll with the title either way knowing it’s pros and challenges, but the feeling of meditation constantly disrupted by ideas I feel the pull to take action on could be a challenge, as that’s an impulse I actively work against in meditation to cultivate true stillness not just useful stillness

That is what occurred during stillness.

Beautiful. I have a pretty strong sense of this in every day moments of stillness in life already so this’ll be wicked to see what it does to that

How important is ST1 as a prerequisite to ST2? ST2 resonates much more with me and my goals for the next few months.

Any tech people using this?

I feel like I can transition from coding, to explaining my code, to talking about something completely different without my brain lagging. The programming itself is much smoother too, like I’ll have an intuitive sense of the structure and can see the connections between modules in my head, which makes debugging flow so much better. Only using Stage 2 right now, I can only imagine what it’d be like on 1.

Not a prerequisite, you can run either stage, or together. Stage 1 is pretty awesome, though.

@SaintSovereign Now that we have Summertime, Heartsong Attuned, and New RM Stage 2, which title is the best at making you become your true and authentic self, being comfortable in your own skin, and expressing yourself freely and happily?

If one title doesn’t hit all of those descriptions the best, then which titles hit each one?

Each one has its own benefits toward that goal. It’s difficult to choose, since all of them do this in some way. I’d say Attuned is the one to run first. It has a very “liberating” feel. RM Stage 2 is an alpha title and can definitely help you achieve this, but note that it’s focused a lot on the creative aspect. So, the “liberation” would be felt first in that realm before spreading.

Summertime is very authentic, but the main skill is radiating warmth. With Attuned, however, you’ll experience a lot of that with just a few loops.

A Qos answer said that Peace and Summertime both do the same job of settling the nervous system - just in different directions.

Does Attuned and RM1 fit that mold as well? Or are they more than just “nervous system settling” comparing them to PEACE/Summertime

They do not. PEACE and Summertime are largely experiential. Both Attuned and both stages of RM builds skills. They’re outward facing, with inner cultivation scripting to support.

That’s interesting. So there isn’t a linear progression advised for the two stages like there is with other titles?

The progression would be Stage 1 and then Stage 2, but all of our new multistagers (except Khan Black, technically) can be run in any order you’d like.

One of the things I’ve realized with creative procrastinating is at the heart of it is fear. Has anyone noticed a greater ability to just sit down and create without being so caught up in the outcome?

Haven’t run this but I’m interested in it

If you guys are writing your copy without the use of AI I’m incredibly impressed. It has gotten very good. Very inspiring. I went back and read the Ultimate Artist copy the other day and it made me chuckle. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Yesterday I ran 3 minutes of The Creative Engine during the day:

Last night was pumpkin carving with my kids. I went to draw the outline of my image with a pencil, which doesn’t mark very well on a pumpkin. I found myself not caring that I didn’t have much of an outline, and decided to just pick up my knife and start to carve. I had zero attachment to the outcome. Every cut I made was the right cut, every mistake was the right mistake. I had the image of what I was doing, but instead of holding onto the idea of how it was going to look, I just watched it unfold the way it wanted to unfold in front of me.

Today I had a very clear image of a project that I could create. This isn’t necessarily new for me, coming up with ideas is not usually my problem. However the idea was very vivid, and felt very much within grasp, almost as if it was already real.

I’m going to run this in preparation for Renaissance Man Black.

Don’t leave us in this suspense, rofl. What have you experienced? The early reports are very important.
