So I’m slowly coming to the end of my first cycle of Limitless. I’m very happy with the results so far, also pertaining to the objectives I wrote down in my post above.
I have been doing better at work. Not only have I become more independent, my results have been slightly better overall (less small mistakes). But the biggest improvement has been my self-confidence. I feel much more confident in my intellectual capabilities, both regarding understanding the material, and delivering the work. I had quite some anxiety regarding time managament (prioritizing assignments, finishing things within time constraints) and while it’s not gone, it feels more manageable. That’s already a huge step for me.
As for reading, I have noticed I can more easily read more difficult material even after a long day at work. I also seem to be able to dive into books straight from the beginning more easily. Usually when I start a new book, my reading progress starts very slow and the speed increases exponentially as I read more in the book. But now the progress seems to be somewhat more linear. I don’t seem to have the same issue with igniting the engine when starting a new book.
I will switch to Polyglot soon for my holiday, but after that I plan to return to this title because I think I can get even more out of it.
Edit: Another interesting effect since running this sub is that I have been getting many more flashbacks of past events - but also of past dreams. Dreams from my childhood or later that made an impression on me at the time, but slowly faded from my active memory, are now coming back for some reason.
