Yeah, I’ve been trying not to overhype right now, since we don’t have too much time right now, but Limitless: Polyglot is a game changer. It’s not a surface-level “learn a new language” title at all, though it does have that functionality.

so it is not just language acquisition…there are linguistic aspects will be developed ….like the semantic part…knowing each phrases underline structure/meaning/emotion and such…also the pragmatic side，how to actually use it in different situation and context ……what else will be in it ？maybe the cognitive function ？how language influence the mind ？and through mastering the utilization of language，one could effectively alter/influence mind activities both themselves or/and others ？

Does Limitless: Polyglot cover the same ground as Symphony of Glyphs, Power Talk and Destiny Directive or does it make sense to include these additionally in a custom (besides a stronger focus on these aspects)?

Polyglot did immediately make me think of Tolkien. The man was a wizard with languages, I would be happy to have even a fraction of the knowledge and understanding of language he had. I’ve read quite a few of his academic essays and works and it boggles my mind how his brain worked.

I’m very much interested in comparative linguistics and especially the ancient Indo-European languages and their reconstructions, and even thogh I’m not actively studying or working with them right now, I know that when I pick it back up, Polyglot will go into my stack for sure. The way a language functions says so much about the people who speak/spoke it, and their inner world.

Yes, Tolkien is one of my major inspirations for sure. I studied Old English (among other things) and my professor was actually one of the leading Tolkien scholars, since Tolkien was a professor of Old English himself. Tolkien had a deep understanding of the esoteric workings of languages in general and how they shape the impressions (and expressions) of its speakers. Studying Tolkien has been one of the more transformative experiences in how I view the world.

Hmm does it help with understanding occult languages, symbolism and deeper spiritual meaning behind them and beyond the metaphors and language coding barriers meant to confuse and gatekeep the masses reading and overall with understanding difficult metaphysical texts?
