Okay, back on track with Into the Wonder.
Either I dreamt this or just terrible memory,
But it was aimed to come out today?
Edit: terrible memory it is, I was remembering Polyglot is today.
@Fire Iâm wondering whether running Mindâs Eye alongside Raikov will be recommended for maximum effect. But I guess all the important aspects will already be included in Raikov. I also remember your post pointing out that the Raikov method is far more than just âjust visualize broâ.
So far from this list,
WDB is out. We have Polyglot next, and then RAIKOV?
What will be after Raikov? Inner Circle: Brotherhood?
Funny enough I was just having a similar conversation with someone else about this.
In the science fiction genre for example, you have a few examples of a reptillian race (such as the appearance of Drazi in B5) being presented as strong allies of the humans and endowed with all sorts of positive qualities (bravery, loyalty, honesty). Studying the portrayal of different ETs in scifi vs what is ostensibly known from encounter literature could be an interesting exercise for disclosure buffs. Heck, even looking at the other predictive programming in scifi is really interesting, like the normalization of portrayals of injections, friendly nanotech and so on.
Gonna be very interested to see the description of Polyglot. Languages really can be like different lenses onto reality. Take Greek words like aeon, logos, aletheia and so on, where translating logos as word or aeon as world or age may remove so much context that it completely changes the meaning of what youâre reading. Languages arenât static, theyâre things that are dynamic and change over time. Hopefully Polyglot will let users zero in on that fluid and contextual aspect of language.
Think of language as a program (as in Software).
(This is a metaphor. Please do not apply it literally or rigidly. You are not actually a computer.)
One of the functions of this program is to enable the exchange of information. But that is only one of its functions.
Another area of its functionality is that language encodes, structures, and organizes Perception. Perceptions of the world, of yourself, of Society, and of relationships between all of those.
Guess what is included in Perceptions and built of out of perceptions? Attitudes. Beliefs. Expectations. Identity.
On top of this, the Context in which you âdownloadâ this LANGUAGE program? Is social interaction, immersion, and connectedness.
We literally learn how to be, to move, and to feel in the world. This learning is encoded in our performance of language.
Language is a microcosm of Culture. Literally, Symbolically, Metaphorically.
SoâŚ
Limitless: Polyglot is going to be an interesting ride.
lol, I know of what you are referring to. I recently got into it with a family friend over this not too long ago. Let us not walk into that territory here.
It does. We had a slight delay today, as I wanted to improve some of these elements of the script. Iâm hoping to release tomorrow (working on the copy). If not, I may soft release.
This would be a phenomenal stack, though RAIKOV already has a lot of support. @Fire is being quite secretive with it as he continues to add more scripting. I think he is very close to finished, though.
Polyglot was supposed to be today. Forgive me for not announcing the short delay. I was working on the script, adding a few more features.
But it is not the language that does this.
It is your mind that uses the language as a tool in order to encode, structure and organize itâs own perception.
Language is just a tool that your mind uses.
@SaintSovereign will Polyglot also encompass other forms of communication or information via symbols, glyphs, hidden languages, encrypted messages or codes, able to read and understand blueprints and templates, plans and schematics, or is it purely spoken languages based?
Most of this will still depend on the skill of the individual, but yes â there is scripting to assist with symbols and the such. Much of that scripting is intended to help with reading and writing the texts of various languages.
Agreed.
Though Iâd remove the diminutivizing âjustâ.
Itâs a pretty important tool.
But I love the nuance that youâre adding here. Not a big fan of linguistic determinism.
The ocean does not âcreateâ fish. Yet without that medium of the ocean, there would be no fish. (Or far fewer.) Language is a medium that influences (not determines) what it mediates. And you are powerfully right; there are many, many, many other systemic factors that also influence the same outcomes.
@Fire will emperor black have the option to be able to run it as long as you wish or will it still be something you can only run in short bursts
Learning the SapirâWhorf hypothesis gives you an intellectual model of how language may shape thought. Speaking the local language places you inside that shaping force. The experiences are related, but they operate on entirely different levels of the mind. When you study linguistic relativity, you gain like an observerâs perspective on language, You understand that language shapes thoughtâbut your own thought patterns remain largely unchanged. When you actually speak a local language fluently, something more profound happens, You are no longer studying linguistic relativityâyou are subject to it.
I would also like to talk about R.I.C.H.: Manifest Incredible Amounts of Income and Wealth.
I used to ignore this title.
It didnât sound exciting, so I gave my attention to other âwealthâ titles instead.
But during my washout, I listened to it.
Now itâs almost like a lucky charm â something I return to nearly every day. And yet, strangely, I still donât give it full credit. In my mind, the credit goes to the other wealth-focused titles, even though this one is the source of most of my real ideas.
This title keeps planting opportunities in my head â ideas that donât always align with what Iâm doing right now, but somehow keep coming back. Real estate. Construction. Water refilling. Gas stations. Recycling. Industries I once avoided, and later found myself seriously considering, even entering.
Thatâs why I wish the producers would say more.
I want to know:
Has this title evolved?
Does it have a new name now?
Whatâs been upgraded?
What new features does it carry?
More than anything, I wish theyâd offer a few guiding words â not instructions, just hints â to help connect these ideas into something intentional, instead of leaving them scattered.
Because whether I acknowledged it or not, this is the title thatâs been quietly shaping how I think about wealth all along.
R.I.C.H. is on the list to be upgraded in this Season 4: Into the Wonder.
So youâll definitely be hearing about it more before too long.
It is a great title.
Thanks good to know.
Iâm running WDB and I have to say those new upgrades are no jokes!
Rich Trader and C&C upgrades here I come!
