A language is a reflection of the population speaking it and their state of consciousness, it is said for example eastern languages have far more words for subjective realities and I would dare to say it is unquestionably true the english language has vocabulary for just about everything in the objective world because they are more externally developed.
@TheGreenMan is right, it is not designed but developed from other languages perhaps the development itself was influenced and tampered with a little bit here and there but society and the people living and speaking english language right now on earth are constantly influencing the evolution of the english language so.
I feel like in English I can express way more than in my own mother tongue, it is not that we do not have the words to explain things but our vocabulary has become as dull as our population, the intelligent people are gone and so the more expressive words and all have simply died out and are no longer being used, even if you revive them (older forms of our language) and start to use that lingo then the modern people will look at you like you are speaking from another time or they won’t understand you lol…
