Dug out an old post of mine as I am wondering if creative writing might be a solution to resolving some deep issues in my subconscious…
This is exactly what I use writing and music production for. Most of my songs, I don’t release because they’re just tools to transmute our understand emotions.

I would love to see RM more focused on this intellect style rather than art specifically. An ingeniuous and curious individual who is passionate about exploring new industries, new arts, new crafts, new skills, for the joy of discovering them and the level of flow state/mastery/curiosisity he achieves while pursuing them, NOT for the end goal of accomplishing them. That can be applied to art, of course, but also other professions like coding and business and scholarship.
Renaissance men of old (Da Vinci, etc.) were scientists as much as or more than artists, and i’d hate to see new RM become an “Art” sub instead of a “Polymath” sub.
Let him be a wine connoisseur, art connoisseur, gourmet chef, etc… we need that cultured cultured extra cultured guy lol. But with a twist that subclub offers.

Just the other day I was saying how Ultimate Writer has been one of the best healing titles for me and it does indeed say so in the description
I attribute some of the success with handling the stacks I’m running these past 6 months to UWX and Ultimate Writer module. In fact, I can see the reflection of the titles I’m using in the projects that I’m working on.

Very interesting idea. OG Renaissance Man serving as the “cultured alpha” title, also including what I said before (concepts from RoD, RoM and RoS). With light skills based scripting on becoming a polymath. Use the other RM titles to drill down on specific crafts.

A cultural angle would be a great way to start!
A couple of thoughts and ideas on a new RM:
On the integration scripting from the other RM subs: It would be nice to just get an understanding of the barebone principles to use them interdisciplinary with your main creative area.
Overall: Interdisciplinary work, connecting elements noone connected before, from unexpected different fields, should be one of the key elements of RM.
Maybe it would be good to approach RM like EoG: A complementary sub for any artist.
Elements that would make sense:
Fame similar to ASBR and Vibes would be good. Doesn‘t matter if you are great if noone knows it. Life as art as you suggested earlier would be a great hook.
Inner Circle (+ rewritten Free Pass) for networking, finding financiers, NGOs, public funding programs (incredibly important in Europe).
Negotiations: Money in art is a very distinct field as you often don‘t have clear or just strange points of reference, especially when it comes to unique artworks.
If one does it right, it can be wild.
Lead your audience emotionally to your work, style and language. This is a tough one for many artists. Saw a lot of breathtakingly great artists, who just never connected with their potential audience. They created whole worlds, but built no doors or windows into the capsule. Something like a cultural Polyglot would be great.
Elements of Daredevil and True Sell would be incredibly important. Often you don’t sell a piece of art but a story. In a way people selling art can be pretty close to con[fidence] artists (without the con). Reality Bubble should be part of it.
Stunts & SCANDAL! How to make noise, headlines, disturb the quiet and go viral. The disruption scripting from NRICH but rewritten for social media and culture would be grand! (The duct-taped banana is a perfect example of provocation, disruption and humor as value.) Sex & humor are, like in probably every other field, the most powerful interdisciplinary additions. A sexy aura/romance scripting should definitely be included.
A rewritten Treasure Finder to find the most talented collaborateurs and best inspiration.
AI proofing: Making your art unique and un-copyable (or not, if the message is the most important part and you want it distributed as widely as possible).
This could also work well for people working with and representing artists.

An AoH variation would be great! Being part, creating cultural moments and rituals and enjoying culture as the source of happiness.

I’d like this archetype to win awards, lifetime achievement and/or others similar, Guinness Book of World Records, etc… it’s a feature I’m looking to see somewhere in Subclub, something along the lines that helps someone get recognition, either be so good we can’t be ignored or literally get into a place where we are winning awards and the bonuses those awards accompany.

Thinking about it… this might be already part of the ZPU planning. Works conceptually at least for every skill heavy sub. Would love this for RM:UWX especially.

I don’t know if it is officially; but it did for me. Perhaps not directly but learning language and being able to mold it as you see fit for your expression on paper could translate well in the speaking field.
However, it doesn’t directly develop the intricacies and skills of using your mouth and body. It did improve my improvisational thinking and expression. Something like Daredevil and Stark are better suited, and Limitless is a perfect middle ground that latches to both ends.

IME it works with conscious guidance. I often use voice-to-text to write. Takes a bit to get used to though.
