lol - I’m not going to even attempt to think about it. 
I was just considering the impact this could have on certain healing modules since @Gilligan had brought this up. Sure, you’re right, of course. Even if one were to do this, the sub could only be used for a limited period for the reason you point out. I obviously want all my customs in my own voice. I’'m now honing in on which modules I want for my customs when QTKS becomes available.

Hey everyone! I understand the point about the mother’s voice. It’s likely the first voice a person hears, and it’s also likely the most consistent voice. It’s heard as early as the third trimester from what I understand.
However there is probably the issue of permission to use the voice in that way.
There might be other things to consider, such as the quality of the relationship that person had with their mother, if the person was around their mother from ages 0-6, the mother’s quality of voice, etc.
Though overall, I think it’s a spot on idea… and the @Yazooneh variation being a potentially intriguing experiment:

I guess there is some misunderstanding. The term “mother tongue” is meant “first language”.
In the US you are referring to English as your first language. For example, in my country, we are referring to our first language as a mother tongue or language so there is probably a misunderstanding about the so-called mother’s voice.
I mean probably no one is thinking about creating his/her custom with his or her mother’s voice instead of their own voice.

I was saying it all in a spirit of jest! I have no idea what works and what doesn’t since I’m not in a lab making subs. I’ll take their word that the person’s voice is most powerful because…. It makes sense and is congruent with the “free will” aspect that made zp so strong and QTkS even stronger.
Even if I really admire my mother or Morgan freeman, that’s not free willed, I’m still listening to someone else

tbh I switched my inner dialogue to English about 4 years ago so I would still go with English since my mind speaks like that from all the internet in my life. It would be cool though to have customs in the national tongue for those who are not so accustomed…?? Eh hahaha Id still go with English you never know who translates it and someone might mess it up just because they don’t actually come from your country. The accuracy of how things are worded might be another slip-up anytime they have to translate it… who knows maybe subclub will one day make this come true too! They are very determined and deliver great quality at the end of the day
And yes It does seem some would be down to give a shot to customs voiced by the loved ones

Well, according to my mother that would be the surest way to make sure I didn’t execute a sub. 
In all seriousness, hearing positive things in her voice might cause me some serious cognitive dissonance.

When you did that, did you notice any change in your reality from making that change?
Asking because language is powerful and actually shapes our reality somewhat.
So it’s fascinating knowing someone made that kind of change.

huge changes but I can’t tell if it’s language related. The world is to this day having a strong effect on me every day.
