I have a personal concept that I live by, one that helps drive a lot of my conscious inner work: the moment you can admit to yourself that you are flawed in some way, thus bringing it to surface so that you can consciously work on it, you become a hero.
The fact that you can admit this to yourself – and definitely since you can admit publicly, in front of people – makes you a hero in my eyes. Think of it like this, every interaction you have in the future that was linked to this issue will be more positive, and you’ll have more wisdom to help others who dealt with the same thing.
And even more important, a cycle has been broken. You see, Sim- I mean, @AlexanderGraves , it’s the circle of life and it moves us all through despair and hope, through faith and love, until we find our place on the path unwinding… it’s the circle of life.
