Welp- first 3 mins of Peace yesterday (also moved to Khan 2) Didn’t notice too much yesterday- although I didn’t have too much going on. Just stayed in and took a much needed down day, however I also experienced an awesome night of sleep. Think I got like 12 hours; but I’ve had a lot going on the past week and was really behind on sleep so I’ll take it.
Now today/this morning is where things started to kick in. Much more relaxed, and in a better mood. That’s probably the primary reason for me running peace, is that between everything going on in the world, work stress, and working through a lot of emotions/inner life, I’ve found myself quite serious lately, as well as more in my head then I’m generally used to.
Consciously went about morning, cleaning, walking my dog- and I would say the mental chatter decreased a bit; but I would say I was more so just conscious/aware of my thinking- which allowed me to not go down loops as much, and feel less emotionally tied.
Shortly after on the way to the gym, I found myself thinking about my ex and just a lot of emotions coming up, but as other mentioned- it was like watching and allowing things to process rather then getting emotionally charged.
Then at the gym; I found out the magnetism everyone else has mentioned is very real lol. Desk people had a more friendly vibe, then as I’m working out some girl approaches me and asked if I knew this guy, and thought I looked like one of his friends apparently; continued to make conversation with me for about 5 mins, and just generally workout next to me lol. She was pretty attractive, but not too interested in dating or anything right now, so just went about my workout.
Excited to see how peace progresses. After a lot of stack debate for this cycle (lot of momentum and opportunity to capitalize on) - I intuitively felt I needed peace. I almost physically can feel the attachment I’ve had to grinding; trying to change my life, massively pursuing my goals- like a constant dissatisfaction and gripping in my chest and stomach, and I know I can’t keep going like that. Not planning to step off the gas; but I know I needed to release control of the outcome.
