I believe so.
I was just about to post about my experience with it thus far. First – I’m already chronically overworked and burnt out at the end of the day.
While ZONE did help with a lot of with productivity and focus (more on that in a bit), what I noticed was how relaxed I felt even after a 12 hour day. Instead of that irritated, burnt out feeling, I felt accomplished and chill and was able to seamlessly shift into a resting mode afterward. Sometimes, it’s very difficult to pull me away from my work, and even when I’m trying to rest, I’m fighting the urge to go do something. With one loop, ZONE wiped a lot of that out.
When I look back at my actual output, I realize how much was accomplished in that amount of time. I also noticed that my ability to multitask skyrocketed. I was working on multiple different projects across many different domains, and was able to hold all the information needed in my head without getting confused.
It is difficult to explain what this title feels like, as with most of the titles with nervous system regulation and more internal results, but the focus is much different than you’d expect. For me, being productive is a rather intense affair. I’m usually “locked on target,” or “wired in,” where I’ll get visibly irritated if I’m interrupted, because that flow state usually takes me around two to develop.
With ZONE, I was able to enter a flow state within about 20 minutes of starting work. And it truly felt like a “flow state,” rather than this narrowing of perception and intense focus that occurs normally. In fact, I felt like I was becoming more expansively aware and yet focused at the exact same time, in a manner of speaking. Aware of my own thought processes, able to gently steer them back to the work at hand with minimal effort. Any time attention would drift, or anxiety would rise, I’d catch myself seamlessly and softly turning my attention back to whatever I needed to do.
This actually added enjoyment to working, because I didn’t feel guilty taking a second to enjoy part of a beautiful song or just take a breather. Those little moments of rest adds up, and I finished work feeling joyful instead of “tired, but wired.”
The biggest result (for me) is the fact that I woke up in a rather bad mood due to some issues with friends and colleagues, and those are the days where I usually refuse to script or work on titles, as I have strict standards about what mood that I need to be in before I’ll do that kind of work. ZONE just… wiped away that bad mood after 30 minutes of listening. The next thing I knew, I was cheery, full of energy and ideas and just started working. Things… just go smoothly with zone.
I also noticed a very noticeable increase in verbal fluency and oddly enough… people being friendlier to me when I went out? Can’t quite understand that one, ZONE doesn’t even have auras, so I’m assuming that’s the new residual baseline from LBfH and Summertime.
This is going to stay in my stack for awhile, especially if that last result is sustained. I’m curious how this stacks with romance titles. This level of flow could be quite useful in many ways. I’m particularly seeing how it pairs with DIAMOND or Primal Nights… (those who have run ZONE will immediately get why I’m suggesting this, lol).
