Main Disc. Thread - Index Gate: Ultimate Programmer X

Apart from the sub assisting in meditation and learning code what other benefits have others reaped from IG ?

Quite a few already:

Figured out how to make platform 5X better by offering a service that I thought only industry insiders could offer. Turns out, they all use free APIs which I can use too.

Coded several functions a lot faster than I thought I could- intergrated video calls using web socket and TURN/STUN servers in a couple of hours.

Lot better prompting on chatGPT which gives me much clearer answers and also helps me with error handling.

Remember where I put what piece of code.

More focus.

A lot more interest in cognitive enhancements (considering QL) because of this.

Also a general feeling of feeling and knowing I’m good at what I do

Each time I run IG i get more chatty and my child like humour is amplified i also get the focus and productivity of course. Does anyone get the more chatty ? more creative humour thing too ?.

The flow state is outstanding on this i am testing this against my starkOG/limitless custom which one will win ? IG or the Mister StarkOG/Limitless ?.

I don’t understand if this sub is needed or ideal for guys in security tech and cloud security fields.
Because programming is not necessary for these jobs.

Actually it’s required/suggested to learn in some areas of information security like tools for penetration testing, ai models for cyber security, scripts to automate processes, secure programming, malware development. Who do you think create all security technologies like firewalls, IPS, etc?

What about

  1. Cloud Support Specialist
  2. Cloud Sales/Account Manager
  3. Cloud Infrastructure Consultant
  4. Cloud Operations Specialist
  5. Security Analyst
  6. Compliance Analyst
  7. Systems Administrator
  8. Network Administrator/Engineer
  9. Data Analyst
  10. Business Intelligence Analyst
  11. Cloud Product Manager
  12. IT Project Manager
  13. Scrum Master
  14. Cloud Customer Success Manager
  15. Technical Account Manager (TAM)
  16. Cloud Trainer

There are a lot of IT professions which do not require programing but do require tech learning and it can be hard to learn these things too

Of course some might learn a little bit of programming but the programing is minimal…

For example Palo Alto specialists have a very demanding job and hard to learn
These guys can be paid $200-400k a year for giving service to big companies

If there isn’t programming involved in the job, perhaps this title is not a good option. To learn faster any topic, it would be more useful limitless/quantum limitless. I would choose the last one, though it requires more time to sink in.

Ok thank you

Anyone got a recon from IG? Like… feeling dumb as a programmer and being unable to solve algorithmic problems as effectively as before…?

Yes me

shit, I am happy I am not alone that dumb. How do you resolve it?

I am not sure I have yet found a way to resolve it yet other than just taking action, but yeah sometimes it gets demotivating due to recon.

yeah bro, I’m being very demotivated during last two days. I’m solving a problem now, and it feels bad lol.

how about now?

Amazing.

Is this recon or something else ?

I guess so.

Is this sub good for cybersecurity fields? Or is it aimed more for programmers and not much to do with cybersecurity?

It covers all aspects of i.t not just programming.

Yes, but focused in programming, for example AI for cybersec, malware development, secure programming, network programming, pentest development tools, scripts for automation, creation of security products like firewalls, IPS, etc. although according to the description it can help you with creativity I think. But the main focus is programming.
