Main Disc. Thread - HERO Origins: Sage and a Blade (Now Available! Q Core for Customs Available!)

Yesterday i was overwhelmed by sadness. Then i was thinking why i am experiencing this. I took.time to think about this rationally and realized why.

I thought about a plan of action this morning and decided i need to put it into action from today. Today is my break day.

Just for the record, even though I don’t resonate with the idea of Jungian psychology and the shadow having anything to do with HeO, that doesn’t mean it’s not relevant to your journey. The copy says:

HERO Origins centers exclusively on your own development. The journey it offers is highly individualistic, placing strong emphasis on physical prowess while also nurturing your inner life.

So maybe the revelation about the shadow work is more relevant to you than to other people running the sub. Just a thought based on what the copy seems to be implying.

Can you estimate the date or month for New Hero title release?

Plan to buy and listen to Hero to mastering my software develop skill in payment system. With my plan, would the new Hero title be replaced current HeO: sage and blade?

The version Saint is talking about has been in the making for 3 years. I remember how he was adding pressure senses to his punch bag. To measure impact levels overtime. So it exists as a product but probably needs to be refined more.

@SaintSovereign can we please include a masculine aura for this version of hero if possible ?

HERO Origins is going to get an upgrade at the same time, since it could serve as a gateway to the next title. The current version of the new HERO is something like 12 stages, which obviously isn’t feasible and will need to be cut down. That being said, it’s going to end up around 4ish stages, which may be a bit overkill for your intended use case.

The major work is largely done. We’re waiting to see what new ideas will come out of Fire vs. Saint before proceeding.

Distilling the good into great is imo the best part of creation. There is nothing more fulfilling.

Would you tease the main theme? Just the broad direction? A riddle wrapped in a mystery would be fine.

Very curious over here.

Well if you look at older posts and the general theme of hero is just being the best of the best the new hero seems like it will be the magnum opus subliminal combining the best of subliminal club and turning you into a superhuman, could be wrong tho

HeO update confirmed this year :tada:

@Judoka there you go you got your answer physical prowess = A sprinter’s speed, a bodybuilder’s strength, or a gymnast’s flexibility. As I believe you asking whether to go for hero or spartan.

Yes im also thinking about sports that are more technique and skill based like football or judo or even darts

I would so decldicate 12 cycles to that!

Mind still as the wave,
each strike shapes the formless void—
mastery is flow.

Years drift like soft mist,
patient hands weave fate and skill—
the soul learns to see.

Stone bends to the blade,
not by force, but knowing touch—
power in control.

Damn, I think I miss you.

I’d say the answer to which of the two is “better” if you’re not going to be running them in parallel, is how do you want the rest of your life to be outside of your role as an elite athlete? Or maybe what is your general approach to sport - competitive or about self perfection/development? Spartan focuses on the competitive aspect like the Spartans aka sparring, whereas Hero focuses on skill progression and personal growth in multiple levels. That’s a simplification, and they both have aspects of focus, discipline etc, but they are two different approaches which can probably be tied to different psychological approaches.

So if you’re going into this to compete against others, Spartan might be more keyed to that approach. But I haven’t run Spartan more than short little bursts in the past so I can’t compare the two myself.

Was curious, now I am intrigued!

The next HERO title’s song is in haikus. I wonder if the theme is musashi again.

Something like the stillmind effect from HeO is back.
It could also be a martial arts sub again. But the formless void could be based on musashi’s book of five rings. If it is, then the sub will be about mastery too. This haiku is specifically about the flow state as taught by musashi.

Mastery beyond the norm, shaping the limitless potential, executing them with flow.

The first line might refer to the long devotion to mastery.
The patience scripting is back again. Slowly building your own fate & skill. It could also mean growing them with the utmost care, which lines up with HeO.
The soul learns to see… If it’s similar to HeO, this can’t be put into words, you just have to experience it yourself.

This one is about long term growth. Maybe the new HERO is about optimizing this aspect. Making the most out of long term growth and finding your calling in it.

Exerting the most through deep understanding & efficiency.
Controlled power instead of mindless one.

I guess this will be an expansion of HeO? Going deeper instead of basing it on another figure.
One word to describe these haikus is mastery. The many aspects of it. Seems HeO-ish to me.

I wonder if it will be a linear multistager or like RM:V (100% confirmed it will be a multistager, no way 12 stages that used to be 8 a few months ago get condensed into 1, rofl).
I doubt stage 4 will be the first three combined together, we already have HeO after all.
So if it’s linear, it will be more similar to DRG than DRR.

If it’s like RM:V, then I guess each stage will dive deeply into different aspects of HeO/musashi’s teachings. I wonder what the stages could be if it’s in this format. Maybe we’ll get a sword mastery sub on its own with the HERO base scripting.

I’m excited for this sub.
