The Dragon will teach you how much you can handle
And keep in mind that we aren’t supposed to rotate more then one new sub in each cycle.
Thats true for new stages as well.
If you want to change your stack completely you need three cycles. You can drop all of them right now, at once, but you should only introduce one sub per cycle to not overload you subconscious.
It already did, I’ve been living on Paragon, much was revealed with the original Dragon, it’s still doing what it does… that dragon doesn’t play.
Found this on FB and thought it belongs here
The legendary duel between Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro took place on April 13, 1612, on the remote island of Ganryu-jima. Musashi, a famed swordsman known for his unique two-sword style and unorthodox tactics, faced Kojiro, renowned for his exceptional skill with the nodachi, a long Japanese sword. Kojiro’s formidable reputation was built on his signature technique, the “Swallow Cut,” which was reputed to be nearly impossible to defend against. The duel was highly anticipated, with both warriors’ prowess and contrasting styles promising a remarkable contest.
Musashi’s arrival at the duel is as famous as the fight itself. He deliberately arrived late, rowing to the island with a wooden sword he had carved from an oar during the journey. This unorthodox weapon, coupled with his unconventional approach, demonstrated his psychological acumen. The duel was swift and decisive; Musashi’s delayed arrival and unexpected tactics disoriented Kojiro, allowing Musashi to strike first and emerge victorious. This victory solidified Musashi’s status as a legendary swordsman and highlighted his mastery of both physical skill and psychological strategy.
@ The Historian’s Den
This fight is the last scene in the epic Samurai Trilogy. Musashi is played by the legendary actor Toshiro Mifune and the films are a classic. I love it more than Seven Samurai in which Mr Mifune also starred.
The true way of achieving happiness and peace of mind, find your craft and master it, don’t seek short term pleasure nor long term success, seek mastery.
That’s why I wanted to work IG and HERO but wasn’t sure how they would synergize. I’m going with ASBR for now but Hero Origins may be next year.
Hero will help you with any craft, no matter what path you choose, you will improve rapidly.
At some point in the future, I want to spend time with this title. It’s feeling very compatible.
I like how it encompasses a lot
as for non-native English speaker, could anybody tell me difference between honesty and rectitude?
They are related and are probably, to some extents, reflections of one another.
To be honest, the word ‘rectitude’ is not an everyday conversational kind of term, even for native English speakers. But it’s most often seen in the term ‘moral rectitude’. That means ‘rightness of character’, ‘rightness of view’, ‘rightness of values’. It tends to be applied to one’s character. That combination of behaviors, views, values, and understandings that encompasses discernment of right and wrong, and that lies at the root of one’s way of being in the world.
Honesty, in contrast, tends to describe the way one expresses oneself or the way one communicates.
To cut through all of the words, I would say that honesty is to communicate in a way that encourages truthful perceptions in one’s self or others.
I’d rather take a lie from an honest person, than a truth from a liar.
One who loves honesty will help you to get closer to the truth even if they tell a lie.
One who loves lies can apply facts and true statements in a way that takes you further from a truthful understanding.
Anyway, in a nutshell: Rectitude describes how one behaves, and Honesty describes how one communicates.
(Hence, ‘honesty’ tends to be one part of ‘rectitude’.)
thank you very much, alive embodiment of the seven virtues of Bushido, aka sir Malkuth.
If you think that’s me, then it’s probably you.
1 year since HeO was released.
How have your guy’s sword training been going?
Lately i have been trying to mix different styles from western to eastern. some that i come up with doesn’t make sense, but i do it just for fun.
I like the european long sword more than the katana. Holding a big sword with 2 hands feels badass & fun. But I’m not a big fan of its guards, I bet training moves using a katana shaped wooden sword for a year played a part in it.
While i’m at it, i might as well put a bit of testimony for HeO here.
The sword training ended up only being a fun activity & a nice way to rest from work while moving my body. This has helped me become more focused on my work especially the ones that i can do from home.
The mastery scripting doesn’t really manifest in my sword training. It’s just for fun anyway. But it is working hard on the other things that i take seriously.
I can see how mastering & going deep into 1 thing can have ripple effects on the other. A lot of the times the opposite also happens, learning other things actually enhances the ones i put more focus on.
This scripting is a late bloomer. I finally unlocked it after gaining inspiration from how some monks prostrate before their practice, not for a higher being, but to humble oneself & respect the practise of meditation.
After that insight, the things i do get another boost towards that “sacred ritual” mindset.
HeO in general is giving me a huge sense of fulfilment & dedication that help make the things i do become much more meaningful. I know i write so much here about this, but the effects are just that good & impactful.
I never felt my sword training as sacred though, lol. I guess the scripting only triggers to the things that you are serious about.
If listening to this and one does not work with swords, will it cause recon?
The recon will be dragons appearing on a daily basis.
Well if that’s the case sign me up!
You don’t get recon from the things you don’t agree with in the script if I’m not mistaken, ZP lets you choose what you like and how you’re going to embody the overall archetype. Recon is related to things you agree with and are at a process of reconciling in order to become a “better you”
The mastery scripting applies to any task, not just sword play. No recon there.
