I can’t reply for @Parsifal personally, and I’m pretty new here myself, but from what I’ve learned here so far, generally speaking, the effectiveness of a Sub for each person will depend on a host of factors, such as the mental/emotional/physical (/spiritual!) state of the person who’s using it, along with their current lifestyle. On top of that, there’s the actions being taken in support of the theme and intention of the sub being listened to.
So as an example, if you are listening to something like Primal Seduction or Sex & Seduction X and you are:
going out regularly
studying about pickup in your spare time, applying what you learned through cold approaches, social interactions and so on
keeping a journal and reflecting often about your successes, failures, thoughts and dreams
Meditating and visualising in detail how it would feel to be the person you hope to become
If you’re doing all these, then you’re pretty likely to see benefits and solid progress (again, this would be influenced by your mental/physical/emotional conditions too).
Conversely, if you ran one of those subs whilst suffering from crippling social anxiety and low self esteem, and never ventured from your home in 3 months of listening, you might get some small mental and emotional benefits from the Sub, but probably not a whole lot else.
In the case of this particular Sub and user, from what they said, they felt it was ineffective due to a pre-existing condition of ADHD (which would fall under the ‘mental/emotional/physical’ factors that I mentioned above at the start).
Best practice seems to be; think about where you’re at right now, what actions, habits and mindset you already have in place (or are trying to develop), along with what your goal is, and look at which Sub might be the best fit for you in terms of helping you to do that.
Ultimately, only you will be able to establish whether it works for you or not
Hope this helps, and all the best!
