Ascension is not “broken.” It’s just not for you. You complain about Khan having the same effect, or any other alpha title. Stop running them. The issue is you, not the title. You just don’t vibe with them.

Yo Ascension is doing wonders for me. Now this is just for me but honestly this is the perfect sub to fall back on in multiple points of your life. Especially if you wanna figure yourself out again, or fall on hard times internally, like yours truly did. I love Emperor and I love Stark but right now this is serving me much more than the others cause I am trying to figure myself out all over again. This is the sub if you want a clean slate in my opinion. Also I am more relaxed and enjoy the moment more, making the journey much easier to deal with.
Now one of the biggest things is that I am getting control over my aggression and anger and in a way I am able to channel it into positive outlets. School, fitness, work etc. while also using my anger purely when absolutely necessary. In a ways it’s making accept my darker side.
I am thinking about making an Ascension custom with a touch of general wellness to fall back on from time to time and to give myself a break from denser subs and have a sub that helps me focus on the now and how to improve.

Just like in my own experience, Ascension is a fall back to for anyone running alpha titles like Khan, Stark and emperor if you feel they aren’t working well for you, it give you a certain level of foundation, inner confidence to execute these alpha titles.

Can’t Khan St1 take care of that?

Is it appropriate to post custom experiences on Main Disc threads, or should I keep that to my journal?
I find that I rarely contribute to these threads anymore because, well, it’s a ‘custom experience’.

If not, I don’t mind submitting a support ticket for a category like ‘Core Experiences’.
Yeah, there’s the ‘Quintessence’ category. But I’m sure not everyone cares to sift through mine or others ramblings on their journals to get to ‘actual’ results.

Does Ascension have the Way of ROI?
On Stark or even Quantum Limitless, I’d be incredibly productive — but the tasks would not deliver much reward. Without hesitance, I’d focus for 3 hours straight, not a blink, renaming the pictures and maps on my hard drive so that they are more organised, lol (for example).
Whereas on Khan, I’d see that as time wasting activity.
On Ascension, Khan, Emperor I know which activities are a waste of time, and which bring me most growth and advancement.
I miss that in Stark, while it allows me to become intelligent and smart on how I productively execute tasks, this can also become a waste of time by watching videos where I study certain subjects that are not important for the tasks and goals at hand.
Ascension, I have profound ambitions, goals, aspirations, and I make task lists that I tackle relentlessly.
So, all the actions are chipping closer to achieving my goals.
Which modules would be related to this?
I was thinking perhaps Way of ROI, Machine:Action?
And Khan is even more intelligent and smart because he’d have a “Stark” work for him, and take care of his hard drive, or other aspects of his overarching goals and pay him a good salary but a Khan would be earning top dollar from his multiple empires.
He would just delegate tasks.
That’s a downside I felt on Stark is wanting to do everything myself… websites, etc
Instead of paying someone to get the job done (Khan) and just taking massive action to achieve a goal as rapid as possible.
@Fire I’m sure you understand this better than anyone, and perhaps you can craft some modules for these purposes?

That is a very good question. If you have a custom with many modules, how would you know that your experience is due to having Ascension Core in it?
I have left a note for Saint or Fire, maybe they’ll have ideas on how best to incorporate these in the forum.

My Ascension custom with just two or three different modules could lead to an entirely different life experience than another user’s.

Q(v2): With Ascension, I was definitely guided. Now that I remember that, I can comfortably say that while using Ascension Q - and for a shorter period of time, Qv2 - I’ve felt more led in accordance with my purpose than I’ve experienced as strongly since. Well, besides in the beginning of the ZP Preview. That was just something else.
Granted, I likely have reached a new baseline.
I can’t say whether it contains The Way of ROI-esque scripting but it certainly felt like it even back then. And that was before TWR was released, if module pack memory serves.

Look at the difference between the titles you’ve mentioned, though

I have finished my second cycle of Ascension. I have linked experience of my first cycle above because it is related to that.
If you have read my first cycle experience I have said about how Ascension helped me work around with my nerves. But after finishing my second cycle, I have felt that some of my anxiety, fear and nerves have returned. And I was wondering why that happened.
Would really appreaciate if someone could help me understand this.

I can only suppose that Ascension might be digging deeper into the problem you are having than in the first cycle so you are facing recon. It happens often when it comes to healing.

proceed listening to Ascension as usual. No pain, no gain. Also you can cut in loops to decrease exposure. But I would just wait out until fear passes away.
