Damn … if my flu gets more unbearable I’ll have no choice then to swap in paragon thanks. I’ll get it regardless though because I’m always getting a sore throat or cough especially in the fall and winter months

How is your Vitamin D intake? Sickness and low vitamin D levels go hand and hand, particularly following the holidays (lower sun exposure and typically an increase in sugar consumption leads to higher inflammatory responses in the body).

To be honest I’m not sure I take d3 daily and a multi daily but I might have got sick from my mom and dad. My dad was really sick for over a week still, then it hit my mom last Saturday and it hit me badly today. I have one of those lights that is supposed to mimic sunlight now that you brought up the sun I’m going to use it first thing tomorrow morning for 5 to 10 minutes

Consider taking a D3 supplement, alongside vitamin K2. Do your own specific research of course, but anecdotally, I have been taking a high dosage of D3 for years and I no longer get sick like I once had.

I take between 10,000 - 30,000 IU a day - which seems a lot by how it’s measured, but there are numerous people who take much higher dosages in order to target more severe health issues.

There is a growing number of research into the regenerative properties of D3. A particularly insightful study was conducted by the University of Chicago when the pandemic initially started:

(tl;dr, Vitamin D supplementation led to a 70% reduction in viral respiratory infections in people who were Vitamin D deficient.)

There is also data to support that those deficient in D3 are more likely to die due to respiratory illness (upwards of 80% of early C-19 deaths occurred in D3 deficient patients).

This is a lot, but as you can see I am really passionate on the subject. :joy: If it can help you and your family recover, become healthier, and more resistant to disease, keep all of this in mind.

Best wishes, and I wish you a quick and restful recovery.

Definitely thanks for all the info :slightly_smiling_face: I’ve seen it recommended a lot online that you need to supplement d3 with k2 but what’s k2 ?

I guess it’s Vitamin K2. What dosage of K2 is recommended, @dreamingheroes?

I’d recommend this one. I only do the recommended amount: 5 drops = 5,000iu. The K2 keeps D3 in check. And it’ll keep calcium from going wrong places. If you take this often, you’ll also likely have nicer dentist visits. I do.

Some other things you could take: NAC, Bromelain, Vitamin C, Quercetin, Zinc, Resveratrol… I try to take Liposomal or Cyclosome versions which are more bioavailable.

I have been social all decade and ignored the so-called “experts” and never got ill. These are the things I took and still take as they are actually good for the body anyway.

Is there a difference taking it in drop form vs a pill ?

The one I listed I am pretty sure it has the right balance of everything in a useable form. I think it’s a good value. The $40 bottle is a 6 months supply.

You could try to search and find something comparable. I’d suggest you don’t take D3 without K2. For a lot of people calcium deposits are a problem and can lead to cancer… D3 helps mitigate.

Obviously, if you’re on a bunch of drugs or have unique health concerns, you should consult your doctor or healthcare professional… mine would ordinarily suggest everything I wrote here.

Jeeze I been taking d3 for years by itself :fearful:I’ll probably order those drops if not I’ll look into another d3 k2 stack. I didn’t know you had to take them together. All I hear is take d3 I never really heard of k2 until I saw people mentioning it online

You might not have to but it’s often a good idea. Especially, for those who additionally take calcium supplements. And K2 is underrated.

For example, I have never taken particularly great care of my teeth, and months after taking this supplement my dentist raved about my teeth… how I must have the perfect diet or genes etc. I had read on an Amazon reviews the possibility of that and it happened for many visits. I did have Fluoride treatments as a kid (which is supposedly bad for your pineal gland & spirituality) but that’s it. I have all my teeth including wisdom teeth.

@Grimm1390 take d3 alone for long time is risky, because exceeded d3 in the body can cause stiffness in muscle and even blood clots.

It’s always recommended to take k2 together with d3 for:

  1. Better absorption of d3
  2. Remove exceeded d3 from body.

But I also recommended that you, only take d3 when the Sun is not there in the winter, always aim for natural sunlight, it’s the best D3 out there. Somehow d3 supplement is dangerous, if you wanna dig deep in the D3’s rabbit hole, search for “cholecalciferol”, not D3 and learn for yourself.

You should regular reduce d3 supplement intake and stop using it at all is the best, but I know it’s quite thought for northern region countries in the winter without the Sun.

@unusualfellow you sold me on k2 i also don’t take the best care of my teeth and im curious to see the next time I go for a cleaning if the dentist will make any remarks. I’ll order it tonight :slightly_smiling_face:what’s bad about fluoride though ? That’s the thing they use for teeth cleaning right ?
@BlissAdventurer you know what’s crazy I watched a lot and I mean a lot of supplement videos over the years and the majority of them say take d3 and they will lists the benefits, and I’ll look in the comments and someone will say to make sure you take k2 with it, but I never gave it any thought after that. I got some time tonight so I’ll dig into the rabbit hole of d3 :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s for sure is beneficial for you in long term if you know the truth about D3.

Be brave and open when digging.
