@James Can’t tell you how long I was in the same position you were in. Working on building a skill set I had no prior expierience in, not actually knowing if it was going to work, making sometimes $900 month, taking out high interest personal loans to keep pushing on despite everyone telling me what I was doing is stupid, and finally landing the right opportunity and now making between 7-10K/month from my computer with potential that massively scale that to 20-30K/month. Keep pushing, fuck the noise (From other people and the one inside your head that’s trying to keep you safe and in your comfort zone)

Dude I had you blocked for the longest time based on your old mindset, you’ve come a long way from the scarcity ridden mindset you used to have
Taking action is the win. Changing your mindset is the win.
Your already changed into a winner. Just trust the process.
Think of it like this… there’s a fly. How do you kill it?
You might use a insect repellent or a lil swatter.
You gotta drop a Hiroshima bomb on that fly.
Same with your goals. Make it impossible not to get what you want.
My old mindset? Was it that bad?
The way I see the nature of ASBR is that it is massive, though starts off at the lowest level as far as fame and network. It starts off with my neighbors, then metropolitan area, and then bam… international cities, and junior military leaders of friendly nations to US all the way in the Pacific, inspired by my stories, wanting to network, etc. The individuals are all related to fitness, athletics, law, and/or military I noticed, so it operated within my lane (within a context).
So for someone that is established in a career, entrepreneurship, etc. that is not yet at a massive level, I can see how it would be quicker to deliver them massive results. The baseline is just higher up than someone like me, who is very much still a student after many years and returning home permanently to US.
Yes, it was. Your posting used to be a combination of…
- Discrediting people’s results,
- ignoring direct advice from the founders who tried to help you out of a bad mindset and find a sub stack that worked for you
- being stuck in self-shaming about how you have all these things wrong with you, and therefore subs can’t work for you
- and just all around being upset anytime someone has a success
- switching stacks constantly
- not having clear goals and wondering why subs aren’t working
Haven’t seen that from you in a while but I’m sure my share was triggering and invoked a lot of anger.
It’s fine. Believe it or not I appreciate and I’m grateful for the feedback.
I unfortunately get in this super envious mindset which obviously isn’t healthy or helpful. I’m getting better.
I’ve always had a difficult time being happy for others. I feel like a fraud when I do express happiness for other people. It has to with Persistent Depressive Disorder or Dysthymia. It’s not an excuse and it’s something I’m working on. I have friends here and I don’t want to unintentionally make someone feel about about themselves or what they have accomplished.
Totally get it and can empathize with the pain of seeing others succeed in areas I haven’t. Thanks for opening up about your depression, I never knew that. Hope you find tools and a way out of it, sounds like it’s blocking a lot of happiness and results for you.
You need to start applying the STOP technique.
Be mindful of your thought patterns. These usually take the same path.
Once you notice a negative pattern emerging, you say STOP. Out loud, if possible. Then you direct your thoughts to something neutral. To any other topic than what you were thinking about.
Go to a neutral topic. Trying to jump directly into a positive topic is too difficult. Neutral is easy.
For the record, this method works really well. I used to do it consciously in the beginning, now it’s automated most of the time.
I’ve also taught it to my sister and to a couple of friends. The ones who kept at it reported good results.
Over time, it will break the old neural pathways and you can then replace them with new ones.
I read about this technique years ago in some book, but can’t remember the name or author of it. Not my own invention.
@James I wanted to ask you this for a while and if you feel like it’s too personal then its ok not to answor. Tell me brother about the moments in your life where you made the biggest breakthroughs. What happened before, during and afterwards? What did it take for you to finally get to the otherside in those examples
Unpopular opinion here: most of our thoughts are influenced by the health of our body, especially our gut health.
If you are open to my advice: focus more on your health and diet than on subliminals. Read “We Want to Live” by Aajonus Vonderplanitz. Focus 99% on health and 1% on subliminals. Be strong and healthy for your family.
Explore imagestreaming; it will work wonders for understanding yourself and growing.
What he said ^^
This works.
This is what I do as part of my intense spiritual development. I do this everyday, ALL day without fail. I closely monitor my thoughts and correct them mentally, relying on higher ideals (right now, my interests are in the philosophical doctrines of Taoism) to guide the correction.
Even more difficult, whenever I have very angry thoughts toward any individual (or group), I force myself to counteract that thought with a deep feeling of gratitude, having undergone a trial that helps refine my inner life and mind.
The qigong makes doing this easier, as it places me in a state of equilibrium for hours, but still, it is quite intense realizing just how many negative thoughts are hiding in the mind.
Love this, overall I feel my mindset is positive but there are defientley situations and topics that trigger me and lead my thoughts to spiral in the wrong direction. Looking forward to implementing.
Yeah, I was just re-reading the instructions and found this, remembered your message.
Also, I’ve recently read a bit more in depth about Paretto principle. That 20% of action produce 80% of results.
But it seems that you can simplify it further - 1% of action produce 66% of results, if I remember correctly. Just thinking it’s relevant to subliminals
It just blows my mind at times that so much can be accomplished by doing so little. I sort of understand now by using myself as an analogy
I can get just brutally overwhelmed trying to what for some folks would be an average day. Part of having severe ADHD. Sometimes I almost think I’m aspie.
Anyway I minimize or minimalize what I want to do to as basic as possible I can be frightening with how quickly and efficiently I can get things done.
I’m thinking that’s whyy that microloops work so well compared to trying to run the entire fifteen minutes. Yeah everyone has a different starting point. That’s where I think I get stuck the most when I look at the results people get or have gotten in what seems like a very short period of time.
I just realized that this is probably a major reason why patience is so necessary as well as why it’s unhealthy to allow frustration to take hold if a person isn’t the same results in whatever time line as someone else. Too many variables . Too many internal and external factors in play for a predictable outcome. Basically all the factors and more mentioned in the article.
As much as we all may want to become "limitless " for your own sanity it probably doesn’t hurt to accept certain limitations that can’t be overcome. I will use myself again as an example
My Wife and I decided IIRC about fifteen years ago that we are going to have kids. Both of us have gone through so much growing up that it wouldn’t be right to potentially put any child through what we individually went through. It still hurts to think about now but at this point its too late as it is because I’m 56 and my Wife is 52. Her health issues would also prevent that even if she was fifteen or twenty years younger.
A lot of times it feels like her and I have had to sacrifice so much other than to be told to just keep working and be patient.
I could easily go into a blind rage over the intense envy I feel often from reading you all’s journals and posts. It’s pointless though
Adopt a kid bro they need parents too
I wouldn’t say it’s doing little. I would say it’s being focused. Read this: Things That Aren't Doing the Thing
I definitely feel you on this one. I finally got over of my impatience and decided to start slowly implementing routine. Not trying to start having 14 hours of focused working sessions 7 days per week lol
Yep. Imagine the difference integrating lessons from 500 page book (with zero water! Only useful stuff) and from 1 page booklet
I might be young and inexperienced but I believe that with the right approach it’s fixable. I don’t want to place any limits on myself and if I were in such situation, I’d make her listen to Paragon Complete, Paragon Sleep and Limit Destroyer (or any other healing title) and then look into Aajonus Vonderplanitz, Buteyko, Body By Science program and so forth. I can give you a list of all the health techniques that I’ve gathered and tested over the years which could potentially help your family. If anything, it’s worth trying, isn’t it? I learnt to not trust mainstream medicine to be honest. I can give a lot of personal examples where it didn’t work for me or for my girlfriend, or for her siblings, or for her mother lol
Meanwhile, you can listen to a wealth stack which is similar to mine (SB + HOM + EOG - full wealth focus). Wealth is certainly going to help with fixing health issues, along with decreasing a ton of mental stress. I’ve been listening to the first two for almost a year and a lot of things have changed ever since. I’m still not where I want to be but I’m surely getting there.
I’m in a similar situation where girlfriend’s health isn’t the best. She listens to Paragon for 6 months already with good results but she still needs a surgery to be done or else she might lose her hearing on one ear completely. The cost of the surgery is like 10 average monthly salaries in my country so not very affordable for a 19 year old like me lol
The time goes anyway and I’ll still work towards my goals. At least I can maximize the results by being consistent with my stack which is certainly bringing me positive changes.
