Mythological- lightning is often the game-changer it let the Greek God’s take over Olympus and defeat the titans and in Norse Mythology keep the Giants and enemies of Asgard at bay.
It signifies illumination and destruction of ignorance.

2 references to freedom - “Libre” and the bird. Maybe referring to financial freedom given the guy with cash at the top.
I once saw I parrot at a pet shop unlock it’s cage, step out walk around, get back in and lock it’s cage on itself again. That’s real freedom… or goes to show were our own prison wardens.

Seriously though, the movie does seem to explain the different pictures. Monk works by day as a pro wrestler to earn money while training (exercise) to earn his freedom (bird in cage) and help the monastery (collective good).
So we got this storyline and we got App store and pictures of charging. People often see money as a form of energy.
And we also have the “set aside a few hours” hint. I’m wondering if this is connected with @Baphomet’s experiment. Idea being: Plug into the power of the universe (lightning pic) to attract money/luck and health, with possible group consciousness component (multiple people listening at the same time) to improve results and obtain insights from the minds of the other people listening.
