That’s one of the problems when trying to discuss LOA, is that it’s not a specific fixed body of knowledge, it’s not a well defined doctrine, and so different speakers or authors can have very different approaches to it.
I tried to write up a post on where I think LOA’s problem’s are, but its a complex topic to tease apart. Ultimately though, one of the major problems is that it can easily become a psychological crutch for people to feel more in control of their own lives, simplifying the supposed journey to a comfortable existence into recipe form rather than acknowledging reality in the moment with all its subtleties.
In your original post though, I think it was really more a motivational technique than purely LOA. And yeah, AI could help some people but so could a simple web search on “what are the benefits of X”, or reading books about people who have done X before. The key is that once you tabulate a list of possibilities and read through them, there will be some that really fire you up and others that are just meh. The process of creating these types of lists yourself is half the journey, because it’s about what moves you. Use AI if it’s giving you good results, but me personally, I wouldn’t rely on it.
