Definitely, if one has no foundation. Simon actually said he had no major trauma issues, and he jumped right on DR St4 from the start, which is his norm for staged subs. Plus he’s one who listens to his intuition.

There should be no recon on St4 after you’ve run through the whole multistage properly. You should be able to then add a second multistage to it without problems. And so on.

I have never understood the point in overcomplicating or making things unnecessarily difficult. I have been guilty of it myself out of immaturity but I would rather simplify or minimalise when possible

That diagram says a lot about our communication norms. I’m American, and the American diagram says “we just have to be RIGHT!”, which is nothing but immaturity.
