Is it recon or am I really dumb?

I am a programmer. I ran once a week Beyond Limitless, Limitless and Stark + Index Gate custom. All the previous week I was doing great, I was super motivated and fresh brain. Until…

On Saturday’s evening I went to my school friends’ house and slept over there, having a fun the next day with them. Once I came back home, on Sunday, I’ve been feeling myself very dumb and unmotivated. Can’t even solve a simple programming problem with that clarity of mind I had before. I feel sleepy and having a brain fog.

Moreover, my sleep is interrupted, I can’t sleep deep and well. This night I woke up because of birds’ singing out of the window and couldn’t fall asleep next 4 hours.

Tell me, am I really become dumb and brain-dead or is it just a recon?

The question alone shouts recon.

Or maybe a bit of a hangover? Have you tried all the usual (electrolytes, sport, fresh air, meditation…)?

hahah no, I don’t drink an alcohol. All the fun we had was making a video for my friend for his university project, doing shopping and playing multiplayer games on mobile phones.

I did some fresh air yesterday (if going to a shop and back home counts). I will go to gym tomorrow.
I’ve never heard about electrolytes. What is it and how to apply it?

They are minerals, your brain needs to function properly. They are in sportdrinks (like Gatorade) or vegetable broth.

ah yes. I have drunk too little water these last days.

Classic recon. Go for a run / brisk walk or eat something very nutrient filled. Resolves this quickly.

If you cannot walk outside because of the weather try drinking some water, take a deep breathe and holding it for a few moments then let go. Don’t be tempted to grab some junk foods.

just take a run for 20 minutes today, before lifting weights - helped me a lot. thank you

yeah, I now understand why junk food is bad. I ate only junk food the days I got the recon after. thank you

wait thats recon not overload? i had the same thing when running 3m loops or 5m loops

i get sleepy and feel mental decline in cognitive abilities ? the brain fog lasted the whole day even with drinking enough water and eating good (5m)

i dont get much emotional so i thought its more overload,

is pushing through that better? like keeping it at 3m-5m and pushing through with workouts? cuz ive been running 1.30m-2mins for a while (6months) and id like to up my game but the mental decline and the brain fog is disgusting af
